Was anyone at MK last year 10/31 before the party?

We will be in MK on 10/31 this year, which is a party day but we are not going to the party. We've had success in the past w/ crowds going to MK on party days, but we've never been on 10/31. Last year the consensus seemed that you didn't really need G+ at MK on party days, but not sure if that still holds true on 10/31.

TL;DR - Do you think we need LLMP on 10/31? We will have a second MK day a few days later where we do plan to purchase LLMP. I hope my question makes sense! ETA: I know the 10/31 party is popular, just wasn't sure about the daytime park crowds that day. Thanks.

Last year and the year prior, MK during the day on a party night was generally quiet/low crowds. This year, that has not been the case. I live behind Magic Kingdom and go often. Crowds during the day have been much heavier on party nights.

As with everything Disney, it's no longer a "secret" or "strategy" - the strategy has gone mainstream.
