Ok, first of all some questions:

1. What is CB? In talking about someone being stalked...I never heard about that.

2. What is a "frapper map"? Please maybe i need to fix some things too to be safer (like my pictures are all over this board! LOL).

I see that Front already answered your question about CB being the community board, but I don't see anyone having answered your other question about the Frapper map. Since you needed to ask, you obviously didn't put yourself on it, so you don't need to "worry" about the map. But, fyi:

There is a thread here, actually two of them now, that deal with the Frapper map. It was introduced in the thread about 'if any DIS VMKers lived near each other'. So some of us already identified our locations on this global map. The other thread, I can't remember it's title off the top, but it was set up to get more DIS VMKers to identify their locations on the map. Those that had not been reading the first thread.

I am sure it was introduced with the best of intentions, cause it has been fun to 'see' where other VMK DISers live. But as some have pointed out, with more personal safety issues arising of late, they are removing their 'marker' off of that map.

This is a warning to people that like to meet other dis peopel in VMK: Do not say dis! do not even say "from that web site", they know whta you're talking about.

So, for all those people that see me in vmk and say," you're from dis, right?", DO NOT SAY IT! They are currently banning people for it.

I personally thing their banning periods are a little too long.
I got banned because me and this girl were talking about AIM and im banned for a month! I know they are trying to keep it safe but come ON!

When people ask me about Dis, I tell them, "I don't think we are allowed to talk about fan sites in VMK." It conveys the information in an "innocent" way.

But I have decided to remove "Dis" from my signatures and rooms now because I don't want to take the chance of getting banned for something so trivial.

I think we need a slogan for our signatures, maybe something like, "Purple duck boogies." to identify us as Dis. Sort of like a secret handshake.

For now, I'm changing all my signatures to include, "I like green cake." If you see a VMK character with, "I like green cake." in the signature, it's probably me.
