Wanted to Rent: Studio or 1Bdr !st week of December / Flexible

As the title says, we are interested in renting a studio or a 1bdr, preferably at BCV or BWV, but will consider other options. We are also somewhat flexible on our dates. We would like to arrive ont th 1st or 2nd and stay until some time that weekend.

For what it's worth, I asked two different owners today to check for me, and there was nothing available in studios or one bedrooms at any DVC property at WDW for the first week of December.

I have seen a couple reservations that might cover some of your dates further down the board. I think you'll have to rent from someone selling an existing reservation.

I have an existing studio reservation at the VWL that I might be convinced to rent. I happen to also have a cash reservation at the Poly and I'm REALLY on the fence as to which one to keep. Perhaps you can help knock me off the fence.

My VWL reservation is for arrival on Nov 28 for 8 nights checking out on Dec 6. I can't change the arrival date as the points for the first three nights are borrowed into my 2003 use year. I could cancel nights off the end of the reservation if you wanted less than 8 nights.

If we were to let this VWL resservation go it would mean the DW wouldn't get to stay at her favorite resort at her favorite time of year (words can't describe how great the WL is during the holiday season)...............but for the right price she'd be willing.

So..............starting Nov 28 I may be willing to let go of as many nights as you want at $225 a night. That works out to between about $10.00 and $13.50 a point, depending on how many nights you want. While it is more than the "standard" $10 that you might be able to get most times, for a DVC sellout period when the cheapest available cash reservation for a standard room at the WL is running $275 (including tax) it ain't such a bad deal. Let me know if you are interested at all...............otherwise we'll just keep our VWL reservations.....................or split our stay..............or.................heck - I can't decide .
