Want to loose weight with me this year ???

I have my wedding coming up in August so count me in too. My goal is to get more toned and if I lose a bit of weight in the process great :teeth:

natcat - Thanks to your post I am on my way out to SportChek to buy a Stability Ball to use a my computer and for crunchies (the floor just wasn't working so well).

Count me in too.

Goal= 10lbs by March 1

Then I will see if I am satisfied. If not, then 5 more by April 1st.

Back to the gym tomorrow!! I haven't been since our Dec 1 Disneyland trip!

Count me in...DH and I are starting to walk again. We did this awhile back and lost 20lbs each..I don't think we gained t all back but some of my jeans are feeling tighter ARGHH!! The probelm I haveis Ilose then I hit an awful plateau. I think I'll pull out the Jorge Cruise book in the morning. 8 minute workouts Yeah!
 
Well, I did the treadmill this morning! Boy, I sure noticed how long it has been since I did it - my legs are feeling quite stiff and sore. Now time for a quick shower and off to work.

I'm on my way!

Oh, and if any of you look at the allearsnet.com site - the Photo of the Week this week is my granddaughter Callista!!

I see u are going to port orleans in November, US TOO! but we are staying in the riverside area. :O)


as for the gym...i went last night. worked my butt off (well so i hope lol)

DeeDeeDis.... try taking the changes slowly then your tummy won't protest so much and you won't feel like you are depriving yourself. The biggest thing I learned the last time I lost all that weight was to take it slow... 1 step/change at a time.

LAst night I managed to go over to the track and did it 4 times - Dog sure loved being able to run free off leash too with his doggy friend that came with us! Today I am aiming to drink 5 bottles of water - did 4 yesterday! I hear the bathroom calling my name!!LOL

You go to lilypie or tickerfactory, make your ticker then add it to your signature. If you need more details let me know.

I am going to Vistana in 5 weeks so realistically only going to lose about 10 pounds but just a loose waistline at this point would help me! What a great tip about sitting on the ball while on the computer ~ I am going to Walmart on my lunch to buy one! I need to loose about 75 pounds so I am in this for the long haul ~ thanks for the motivation.......I get weighed tonight at my weekly TOPS meeting so I will focus on today's weight and go from there. I'll check in a couple times a week.

Just go on anyones ticker, click on it, and it will take you right to the site to do it!

I'm walking more and just got another stability ball that I sit on when I am at the puter. It really helps strengthen abs and helps my posture. Also I have been doing crunches on it at least twice per day. It is easier than trying to get up off the floor. That's my tip of the day! :flower:

This stability ball, is it good for people with bad backs?

Of course I am! I will be posting progress weekly on my marathon training and am hoping to meet up with some others next year for the annual marathon at WDW (It is also a grad gift to myself, well, the trip anyways!)

I am hoping to lose 30 lbs by the end of the year - it's all those years of university that is catching up with me!

I'm back on my weight loss routine again too.

I look 30 plus pounds last year but I put about 5 back on over the holidays.

I still could stand to lose another 20, so I've decided to get motivated again and see if I can get it done :teeth:
 
I am in too...would love to loose 15 pounds by the end of March. I have been very inactive and cannot exercise much as I wrecked my knee last September and had surgery in December. I have been on crutches since September but am now in physio so at least I am doing something. Of course it has been easy to sit and eat....it has to stop, so great idea to band together to help each of us. Thanks for starting this :sunny:

we have a res on hold, we have to make our deposit before the end of the month, we are tentative on Nov 11th. that may change tho, and at the Riverside. :O) but we are still thinking about changing to French quarter
 
Okay... I've been avoiding this thread for a few days, contemplating, agonizing and then this morning I pulled out an older pair of dress pants to wear to work and I couldn't do them up :scared1:

My mind is made up. 20 pounds by August. In 2002, it took me 5 months to lose 20 lbs, so I'm giving myself 7 months and I won't be so hard on myself this time. :scared:

Has anyone ever tried a cellulite wrap before at a spa? I was debating trying that, I saw a spa - Grail Springs in Bancroft offers it, but for $190.00 :headache:
