We are cruising on the Wonder April 24th-April 28th 2005.
We have 2 daughters 12 and 7. The 7 is a social butterfly who makes friends in 5 seconds but our 12 is a little more reserved. I'm worried that she won't be interested in the club as she doesn't have a buddy to pal around with. I'm hoping to meet up with another family who has a daughter 11 or 12 in the same boat (how's that for a pun!) so that the girls can correspond prior to the cruise and have a buddy from the start.

We're sailing on back-to-back four night cruises! How cool is that? Now I don't have to worry about who's hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year...for me it will be Mickey and all his friends (as well as 7 other nights of dinner, too)!

We're two adults, and these will be DCL cruises #5 & #6.

This is the longest countdown I've ever had...but I'll survive it somehow!

Per the first post of the thread, there is a database to enter the dates you are going and also search for others going when you are. That's why it's called "Who's Going?"

I created a database system that will allow you to enter the dates you are going and search to see who else will be there when you are going!! I call it, "Who's Going".

There are 3 main pages.

1) The main search page. You can search based on a number of criteria but you don't need to use ALL of them. For example, if you wanted to see who is going in January of 2004 you would select January as the month and 2004 as the year.

2) The ADD records page. This is obviously where you would add your stay information. Take note of the password you use as you can use it later to edit or remove your record.

3) The EDIT record page. This is where you can return to change your dates OR delete your entry if need be. Make sure you use the password you entered on the add record page.

Well, its most of the families first cruise. Of course, it will be my husband, George and I. My daughter Bethany 15, daughter Emily 12, and daughter Sydney 5. Then my mother and step father, step brother, his girlfriend, her son and neice.....So, this should be an experience.....

If anyone is going on the West Coast (Mexico) Cruise 08-13-05 let me know.

Why would she be better off? The database is a good place to see who's going when you are. Isn't it? Just curious.

There are over 30,000 visits to the search page and almost 3000 entries in the database. Not too bad.

I didn't mean it in a bad way. Sorry if it sounded like that Majestic. It's just that the West Coast cruises have a lot of people on them and they could get lot of information and newsletters and things from it. It sounded like JC32 hadn't found anyone yet and maybe she could find families with kids listed over on that thread. I know a lot of people aren't registered on the "who's going" thread, so just wanted to get JC some more info. In fact I wasn't registered til this morning. I tried to back in June, but for some reason it didn't work then for me.

I think this is a wonderful "Who's going?" board and am glad it's there. It has so much information. I was just referring to this one cruise date she listed. Keep up the good work!

Okay I just checked again and I notice I put the wrong ship. I am going on the Magic and I put Wonder DUH!!! silly me. I found 5 guest and I will try to contact them and hopefully they have children same age is mine.

I sent a message to one of the Users on our cruise and she lead me to a thread title (August 13 2005) and the thread is only for people cruising the same day as us. It's a great thread. Thanks for your help. I've been reading all the messages and and wrote one myself so hopefully someone will respond.

We are going on the Disney Wonder Nov. 13-17. This is our first time on a cruise. My husband and children's first time in Disney. Everyone is so excited! There is so much to read about. At least I'll have almost 8 months to educate myself. Feel free to give me any tips! Thanks!
