I live in Florida, so I've been to WDW millions of times, but, I really want to go to DL mostly b/c of the Indiana Jones ride but still.....I've heard people like that ride so much that they would pay admission just for it. I just really really really want to go....I'll probubly have to wait till next summer, but tell me is the flight to Cali. worth it?

I must admit, the flight is the worst part - especially the jet lag when you come back... it can also be the most expensive part of the trip.
Would I do it just for the Indiana Jones ride... umm.. no, but worth experiencing at least once. You might want to plan to stay a little longer than normal and see a few other things while you are over there. You could easily knock out DL/DCA in 2-3 days. You could head down to San Diego for a couple of days, or up to LA for a few days before or after DL.

I went last year because I had to go to my brothers wedding in San Diego. We were in CA for a week and made a quick 2 day trip up to Anaheim to go to DL/DCA - it was a great trip. We are going back this October for 4 days, but we wouldn't be making the trip if we hadn't gotten free airline tickets. We wanted to go before the 50th celebration was over.
