Want to Go in June '06

My wfie, son and I will be making our first real trip to WDW in June 06. What are the best options for finding the best rates. We are thinking about staying at the Beach Club. Where would you get the best rate? AAA, Disney itself, travel agent?

Any thoughts or suggestons would be appreciated.

I booked a package for May 2006 through AAA and it was $200.00 less than the price I got from Disney. I did this through a AAA travel agent. You could also try pricing everything out seperately and see what you come up with. Welcome to the Dis!

How do parkhopper passes work? If I bought a 4-day pass and went to a park late afternoon on my first day does that mean I only have three days left total or three days left at that one park? Again, this is all new so any help would be appreciated.

If you buy the passes with the "hopper" option, that means that you can go from park to park on the same day and it only counts as having used one day, regardless of how many parks you go to (on that same day.) Suppose you show up at one of the parks at 5pm.....that would still count as one full day on your pass, so yes, you would only have 3 days left on a 4 day pass. A couple of really good websites to check out are www.mousesavers.com and www.allearsnet.com. Both of these sites have a bunch of info regarding Disney World and the Mousesavers site always lists any discounts that are available for rooms, packages, car rentals, etc. If you have any more questions I would be happy to help you if I can.
