Well none of those were posted when I finally got on to check.... I wonder if those hours are going to be our new hours... Not sure I can change my hours.. Like the 3-8... I know I can not do that.. I have kids who need to be at football practice and feed and ready for bed..... And then some of the 1-6:00 events will not work for me.... I wouldn't mind a 9:50 to 1:50 event.. but the late ones just won't work....
What do ya'll think about the strange hours???

I just figured out that this is a grand opening, so I think the hours are just for that. At the other ST grand opening I did, the hours were 11-4 and 3-7.

I just read the note on staying connected... so we do have to work more than our alloted time... I don't like the clock in at 11 when sometimes we don't even have a guaranteed kit until like 20 mins later. I have no problem doing that for events when I have the kit going into the event, but when the stores have them they take their own sweet time to find the kits and I am not working that much longer to make my demoing time (middle time entry between swipes) to come out to me Demo time.

brivers or ZanneMarie or anyone else doing the Salute to Savings at Meijer - The Meijer kit has 250 coupons (mfg. not store specific) for $1 off the Curves & Warm Delights we’re promoting. If you have any coupons left from the Meijer event, are you/would you take them and use them at the WM event?

Gosh, I had not really thought about it. I would definetly be tempted to because it sure would promote sales but then I think if they wanted them used at WalMart they would have given them to me in that kit. I am such a rule follower that it might be tough to use them and not feel kinda guilty.

I have to email Daniel about my late check maybe I will ask that as well.

I would like to hear others opinions!

I did the fiber one bars at Food Depot and then I took them to Wal Mart with me, Really made a difference.. Sold close to 40 boxes.... Wish they gave coupons for everything....
I couldn't submit my form today, My event did not run, The store is in foreclosures and did not have product or kit..... K-Mart store... So I tried to put in my time and it keeps telling my swipe out value can not be later than 10PM, but Not sure where they are getting that time from, Nothing is later than 10pm.... Sent email, Waiting to submit when I find out what to do.....

For me the question about resusing the coupons doesn't apply as both my doubles are at Meijers :) however, this is all specualtion as I have only received the boxes 2of2 for the kits and NOT the coupon part, but if they DO NOT say MEIJER only on them (like Kmart and Target sometimes do) then I would by all means bring them. Hell I have some left over coupons in my car some times and if i see a customer at my table with an I item I recently demo'd and have coupons for I run out to my car real quick and get them one. It makes for a pleasant experience with the "demo guy" :)

A lot of Super Target events showing up in my area, all for 10/14.

AF High Protein Cinnamon Cereal
AF Lemon Salmon Skewers
AF Smores Bites
AF Cinnamon Rolls
AF Organic Cranberry Juice

The stores these events are at are brand new, not even open yet so I'm betting these events will be for their grand opening celebrations.

I am hoping there will be a lot more events for one of them because it is so close to my house! I took the one for the Organic Cranberry Juice, I'm not ready to start cooking yet! :rotfl:

I'm doing the Smores bites there!!! It's a week before our F&W trip so the extra money will be much appreciated. Just look for the short brunette in a skirt.

It seems I always find coupons in the Sunday paper for items we demo at Walmart. Granted I only end up with 1 or 2 coupons, but I take them with me & give them to anyone buying the product.

So far, I have 1 coupon for Mini Warm Delights for this Saturday.

Also, sometimes there have been coupons IN the product box, I give those out too. (cereal.....)

At coupons.com there are $1.10 coupons for the mini Warm Delights. I was able to print 2 each day so far.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 I didn't see Warm Delights there, but I just printed Curves cereal & Curves bars!!

you just reminded me I had found coupons online for Coppertone this summer & printed those for people too for Walmart. I just didn't ADVERTISE that I had coupons if you know what I mean. I didn't tape them to products like I do at other stores. I didn't put them front & center on the table either since I didn't know what Walmarts position was on it since they didn't give us coupons.

I tried that at Target once....bringing in printed coupons from Targets website for a demo....didn't go over that well with management. lol

BTW, I received my 3M dental pet treats kit for Friday.

It must've just ended, I know I printed some either this morning or last night. Maybe try my zip code too - 55125

I got Curves cereal ones, but no Curves bars.

I love having coupons, it sure helps. That's weird about Target as you'd think they'd want more sold and the coupon money comes out of a different fund so the individual store is reimbursed, even if it's a Target coupon. They were promoting using a Target coupon and a mfg. coupon together in last Sunday's coupon flyer.

Splash, have you ever used 2 MC tables at a demo? I thought if I get my second kit in time (doing 2 of these Salutes a week apart), I could set up 2 tables in a kind of "V" to have enough room for everything.

Glad to hear your 3M arrived! I live 1/4 mile from 3M headquarters lol

Lucky, you! No kit, and no reply. At least, now, I have hope it will be delivered tomorrow.

Not Splash here but.... I have used two table at an event before and there have a been a few times I wished I had a seconf table. I only used it when I had a lot of products and I was also using a miscrowave or toaster oven. I don't know if I am going to use two this weekend. Might be handy but it is also a bit of a pain. It is almost too big of an area. I think at the Meijer I won't use two because the store and aisles are pretty crowded, might at Walmart if after doing Meijer it looks like it would help.

I almost took an offdate, weekday event at a health food store promoting somthing that I would never eat because they were offering a 'sidekick' table. Basically a half sized table to be used with the regular ones. I am jealous of anyone who has one and if you have two I'll send you my address!!

Thanks - I think I might do this because of the microwave. If I could get set up on a corner where there's a partial empty wire shelf, I would probably be okay. Now you have me thinking about that half table - I want one too!

Only time I've used to tables was for Tassimo demo at Target, because we had the machine, all the types of t-discs you could put into to, making drinks for people & needed a place for them to put in creamer & sugar. But, it took ALOT of room. I would never have that much room in most of my Walmarts - except for my 2 newest stores....and only if I was setting up in the dairy area.

Now, I did see a guy do something cool once. He went into the dairy backroom & got 2 or 3 milk crates (can't remember how many it took) & stacked them on top of each other with the open side down. It came to the same height as our tables. He used it as a table extension. Half his microwave was on the crates & the other half was on the table. I've never tried it myself. Dont' know how sturdy it was, but he didn't have any trouble that I know of.

Don't be afraid to use the floor to display products if you can. If alot of the same product, leave them in the case & stack the cases near the table. That's how I did the pears event last year. Just a big stack of boxes near table to sell from.

We had sidekick tables from June 2006 MLB events with a slot in the top used as a ballot box. Never thought to keep them. And have never needed it really.

If you have several extra tables, I wonder how hard it would be to make 1/2 a table out of one. A good sharp knife & some duct tape should do it. lol

All great ideas - thanks! I'm concerned about my microwave as it's so heavy. I promised my husband I would keep this work stuff separate money-wise so I went and bought the microwave that was "lowest price of the season" at Target when school started, it was $35 with $20 in coupons inside. It's much heavier than I thought it would be. I am kicking myself because Sam's Club had a combination toaster/toaster oven for $20 on clearance and I went home to think about it, went back and all 5 of them were gone. It was nice and compact. I should've bought a tiny microwave, but I was being a cheapskate (as usual) and didn't want to pay what they charge for them.

I have a table that I received crushed in the middle and tomorrow I'm going to get out the duct tape and try to adapt that one.

I have a lot of room at this Super Walmart, it's brand new and has double-size aisles and they don't care where I am or what I do there (unless everything has changed in the last month!). I'd drive over there to check things out, but it's near 20 miles and gas went up here again.

My microwave was a brute... the table that MC provided did quite nicely. Just make sure you have it in the very center of the table and you should be just peachy.

I got Box 1 of 1 for each event yesterday... so it is all good.
