It took me 4 hrs & 15 mins to get to my parents house. My car overheated on the way & DH had to come get me & swap cars on the highway. GRRRRR!!! I just spent $590 on my car this week on new plugs, wires, coil.....and other stuff because it was running really rough. Now this crap!

I get to my parents & they don't have A/C. Too cheap. It was in the 90's today. I'm soaked from sitting on the highway waiting for DH to come get me....and now I'm just hot.

I want to cry!!!!! :headache: :sad1:
 
My in-laws are like that too. No A/C no matter what and this is in July in Florida. Sorry you had a bad car day. :(
 
I’m back from my week in California. Saw Mickey at his “birthplace” on Monday. ::MickeyMo Had a great time at Disneyland and California Adventure. I was able to ride Soarin’ which I really wanted to do as I missed it while at WDW last Christmas. Also got a couple of rides in on my favorite, Space Mountain. :woohoo:

Looks like it was a slow week while I was gone. No new events, but four Toaster Strudels / Hamburger Helper events were “dropped” while I was gone and I was able to pick two of them up on off-date. :cool1: My event box for the on-date Toaster Strudels/Hamburger Helper came while I was gone. Sure hope I get rid of all those Hamburger Helper samples.

Have been out of town since Wed. evening and when I came home today there was a package on the porch. My huge CQ Cosmetics poster. On the outside it said "2 of 2" but there was nothing else on my porch?! Husband was here while I was gone and said he never saw anything on the porch the days I was gone!?:confused3
 

Good morning everyone! I'm doing Diet 7up and Pringle selects.

Boy am I glad the pringles are finally leaving my house. Pringles don't stand a chance around me. I did really good I only counted them no other touching ( I'm dieting for my trip).
 
I had this happen once too. My second box showed up a couple of days later. Hopefully, yours will too.

Yep, got an email from Natalie, on a Sunday no less, saying it's scheduled to arrive on the 7th!? Wonder why they sent them seperate? I've always received my other CQ stuff in one box.

Ohhhhhhhh and she also wanted to advise me she's no longer my staffing manager!? News to me. It's now Alicia. This is like my 5th person in a year!:headache:

I'm back from doing my Pringles and Diet 7up. I would have really sold alot if
Target had the flavors in my kit.

Why do people feel the need to make personal remarks about our products ie gaggin sticking out tongues etc. Where are people's manners? Oh my favorite "natural mom" was there with her crew buying unhealthy sugared cereal but not caffiene drinks.;)
 
Has anyone been looking around the Ebookings site, lately? I was trying to find the rate chart online and found this in FAQ under PROJECT/EVENT MATERIALS :
To receive payment, the report forms must have a store stamp, manager´s signature, original receipts attached, and the Computerlink confirmation number.

Also, if you log out and click on FAQ, under APPLICATION QUESTIONS, you find this:

Do you guys have an ID badge? Does anyone get store stamps?

The reason I was looking for the rate sheet was because I got an email about unbooked events for TMT so I called to see about an off date (which was mentioned in the email), she told me it would be $8 less for off date, so I said you mean it would pay $82? (6hrs=$84 + toaster oven=$6 =$90 - $8 =$82) When she went to look it up, she came back with "It would pay $72". Me "plus $6 for the toaster?", her "No, $72 total." When I told her I didn't want it, she said,"Well, I would take it if someone offered me $14/hr" I tried to explain to her that $72 was NOT $14/hr (72-6 for TOven = 66/6hrs =$11/hr) plus I would have more in gas.
Cut to the question-For those of you working for TMT do they still pay $60 for 5 hr off date Ebooked events? Or are they now paying $62 like SPi?
 
Okay, I booked my first event for Scott's t.p. on 8/18. The event instructions only say to bring the table and apron. What is the policy on the hat when the product isn't food? I don't have a "hat head!" :laughing: If I have to, I'll deal with it, but it won't be pretty! :)
 
1. No, I've never received an ID badge or name tag from SPI. I would REALLY like one though after working 2 weekends at Kmart front door remodeled store where all I've been doing is directing people to where things have been moved to. And still trying to get my Pet Center script in there.

2. I get a store stamp about 8 or 9 out of 10 events. My Target has only stamped it once of all the times I've been there. They keep it in an office under like triple key. Or no one ever knows where it is.

Walmarts keep it at the service desk or locked in the office behind the service desk. So just about all my Walmarts are stamped.

Kmart....I don't think I've ever gotten a stamp.

I do ASK at every store I'm at however. I just don't always end up with one.
 
Have never gotten a stamp.......never knew I needed one and have never been told I must have one to be paid and have never received a name/ID badge.
 
I usually only get a store stamp NO signature and have been fully paid everytime. I checked my last check and I have made 1200 this summer. :) I can't believe I actually paid for my entire disney trip with this job.

No ID badge. Sometimes WM automatically stamps my forms. 99% of my forms have no store stamp.

According to my TMT rate sheet, which I received when I was hired almost a year ago: Off-date, 6 hr. event = $72, off-date, 5 hr. event = $60, and off-date, 4 hr. event = $48.00. If you're talking about the two jobs I see in Cambridge or Zanesville, they're both listed as 6 hours jobs which I don't understand as the exact same job at WM is 5 hours. :confused3

Off-date should be $72 + $6 (toaster oven) = $78
On-date should be $84 + $6 (toaster oven) = $90

I'm going to send an email to see if I can get a current rate sheet.

if it does not say "hat" then you don't need a hat.
 
Ok so what does everyone have booked after the 18th:confused3 Trying to plan next years vacation but with only 4 events booked so far is not good. What is up with everyone else???
 
Mama3Princesses, I booked for Aug 25 & 26, then Sept 1 and Sept 9. And I have to travel for some them. I have Cartersville, Mabelton and I even took an Atlanta one near my ft job--will spend the night Friday with a co-worker. And I have 3 local. After that--I am looking to fill! I'm wishing now that I had taken some of the weekday jobs and used a day or two of vaca at my ft job because now NOTHING is showing for GA. However, when I pop in my family's zip in MD there are lots of jobs open. Just don't want to drive 700+ miles for a demo job:rotfl:
 
I was excited to grab my first event the day my MC card arrived. It is on 8/18. Since then I have checked numerous times daily and nothing is in my area. The closest is about 25 miles, and I'm not willing to go that far. Hopefully it picks up around here!

Are all of your events at the SuperTarget? What events did you see during the weekday. Normally I do not have any problems booking jobs but I have not seen anything past the 18th. Hmm wondering if all of my rescheduling has gotten me into trouble:confused:
