I'm one of the 25 winners in the Dasani Plus display contest at Target. I received $20 in Target gift cards in the mail today.

Here's my picture. It must have been the day they didn't have a kit for me based upon the tableclothe instead of the wrap around poster. Just proof that it doesn't take anything real special to win these contests.

Just wanted to let you know I was riding Splash Mountain last night from 1:30 to 3:00 A.M. Extra Magic Hours, just for you! We got home this evening after a week at your Laughing Place. We had a great time. I was catching up on jobs - Yes, Meijer! Thanks to you and everyone on this board, we had some extra funds for our Disney trip. Congrats on your demo contest - it was wonderful to "see" you in action.

Email from SPI stating 8/18 Glade Wisp Flameless Candle event at Kmart cancelled by manufacturer. OK by me I guess. I think I'll take a weekend off rather than book the Curves cereal & bars at Target. Its not my usual Target....but in the city instead. And I'm already doing Curves cereal this thursday at Walmart. Besides, being a larger girl, I always feel weird doing these diet/exercise/health products. lol

I bought a larger black apron in the housewares dept at Walmart. It actually wraps around me...and doesn't make me look quite as big. Nothing like a tiny apron for a larger person to emphasis their wasteline. All you fit young ladies look so cute in your nice tight shirts & baseball caps. It doesn't work quite the same for my shape. lol

Just picked up an event for Sept. 8. I was so worried that I missed out on demos the 4 days I was gone!!!!

How long to wait for first paycheck? My first event was July 21. Mailed paperwork July 23. Does it take 2 - 3 weeks, one week, etc?

OMG! Never in a million years would I have guessed your weight or age at either of those. Wow!!

I'm 42. And down to 209. I carry it all in the bust & hips though. All those years of working in an office environment were not nice to my figure. I've lost about 15 since quitting job Feb 2006. Its not easy for me to lose.

Not sure if this is new (or unbooked because it was only at one store) but there is a 9/8 Tyco Diapers event at Kmart.

Good thing I had already swapped the Glade event for a Soft & Fresh event (one boring one for another but it was closer!)

I was up way over 209 for several years because I'm a long-term prednisone patient, I've since switched to Decadron, which amazing isn't making me gain anymore (and not losing either, but I'll take that). You'll lose weight at this job, you've been working so much that it will probably help a lot! I think I read that standing burns 10 x's more calories than sitting and if you do Garnier, you'll put on several miles in 5 hours too lol

I'm sorry to say that's the one and only time that camera did that!

There are so many medications that cause people to gain weight, why don't any of them cause people to lose it? It's so unfair!

Hey ya'll share the camera please (under 5 foot tall, 45 years old and in the range of 165 - 175 lbs) I can use all the help I can get!!! I was actually hoping I could lose/maintain with this job. My ft job requires a LOT of sitting---usually in meetings where we have snacks/cake/ice cream, etc. I was doing ok on weight watchers but then just lost the incentive--I too am on meds that make you gain so I figured what the heck! I was signed up for curves cereal but then had to unbook---I felt a little like a "fraud" considering people would look at me and go "so you don't use it???" anyway.

The Tyco diaper event appeared in a lot of the Atlanta area--nothing really close to my home but I did take one about 30 miles away.

My goal is to work almost every weekend until we go to Disney in January. I hope I don't have too unrealistic expectations. If I don't work it won't be the end of the world but I am also using this job to fill the void left by my babies moving out and on their own. (I'm spending a lot of my evenings with that day's GH episode and ice cream)

So instead of $80, they were $95. (I live in a state that received the "raise" earlier this year. Gosh I hate posting that. )
If offdate, instead of $72, they were $87.

For this offdate, I was paid $77. Its broken down as $50 & $27. Usually it says $60 & $27.

My off-date for a Coppertone was $60, they docked me the entire amount for my store report, computerlink and receipts, even though I called to tell them the store didn't carry the tea and asked if I should make a purchase anyway (and called prior to my starting time), but everything else was done and sent in. I'm still upset about that because I was trying so hard to follow their directions. For the $35 difference, I would've never done that job if I'd known this would happen.

Gosh we fell all the way to the 4th page....
Anyway, I haven't got anything booked for Sept yet... I guess I just have too much stuff going on that month, or maybe it is just slow... But I do have 10 things book for Aug..... Starting today.. more of the Big G cereal..... Almost have enough to pay for my cruise for December!!! Yippee!!! I just have to finish out this month!!! Then to start on the extra stuff like snorkeling and site seeing!!! I can't wait!!!
School starts back after next week.... Boy did this summer go by fast!!
I want to plan a trip to Disney but not sure when I can... First I need to save some money,,, I would love to be able to go in late May when school is out, but not sure about the heat and crowds, We usually go in Dec or Jan... I don't think I want to go when it is hot, but why not, it may be fun just to experience the crowds... lol... But I have had some friends take their kids in JUne and July, and swear NEVER to go back.. They hated it... and that was their first time, but it ruined it for them forever.... Oh well, less crowds for me.. lol..
