The july 8th job showed up here, but I'm not sure I want it. My ds leaves for camp that morning, so it will be hectic that morning, plus the job is in another town.
It's Chicken Teriyaki Skewers at a ST. I did the beef kabobs and hated cooking them! But with it so slow , do I dare pass on a job.
I have to think about this one.

Managed to pick up a Dasani water event. Sure glad I did because by the time I checked an hour later most of them were gone. Our competition is pretty fierce here now!!

I just tried and got in ok.

The Dasani event was available but can't take it as that will be the day that we are returning from our Mackinac Osland trip. Grrr. I only have one event scheduled for this Saturday and nothing on the horizon!

By the way, Dasani is another 11-3 event at Target. I like this time better than the 1-5.

We see very few events for Target so that might explain it.
I sure do like the hours of 11-3 better than 1-5pm though!

I have some events between now and 2 months from now... but it is really really dead also:

6/16/07 - Big Kmart - Hershey Mega Wave
6/17/07 - Target (DOUBLE EVENT) Diet Pepsi Max
6/30/06 - Super K - Pepsi and pork
7/8/07 - Target - Dasani Plus
8/11/07 - Country Market - Hamburger helper Toaster Strudel

A lot different than my other months where I work sometimes 3-4 times a week doing demos. I so wish Target offered OFF DATES!

Just looked on-line to see if my check was cut today as they said it would be...it was and I'm happy to see Garnier paid $85.00 again!! Also for an off date of Garnier I got $77.00 (I'm in a state that did not get a raise ).

I have CQ cosmetics tomorrow..........hope there are alot of teenage/young women in the store for this one!

The 6/16 Kmart Hershey's are now up for off-date for the ENTIRE week, not just for 6/17.

I was just looking over the long list of available events. It seems people really don't book up the Target events here. I wonder why? I remember at least 2 people from MA asking about joining MC on this thread. I'm going to have to assume they never did, because the store I knew they could cover near them always have events open.

I hand out refer cards...and people still don't look into it. I don't get it.

I wish Target did off-dates too.

Has anyone opened the kit for Saturday's Asian Sensations & Red Baron Pizza Singles yet?
1. Where on earth are we supposed to find room on our table for a tri-fold display sign along with the microwave & 2 different products?

2. And, who is Julie Roberts & why do I care if she sings? Found this: http://www.julieroberts.com/ but why is she cutting in on our demo?

I swear I might just duct tape the food portion of that tri-fold to the front of table somehow (even though its longer than table)....and Julie might end up in the trash.

I was going to put the tri-fold on top of the microwave. As for Julie, I think she may be recycled.

You'll have to let us know how this event goes. I'm not doing it until Tuesday. And the next time I hear someone complain about the size of their kitchen, I'm going to tell them to try cooking two dishes on a 2 x 3 table.

Took another look at "Make Your Taste Buds Sing, Julie" and I'm thinking she'll go in the front of the bottom tray. I'm not sure why she's part of the demo, I'm just the Consumer Connector.

Anyway, did CQ Cosmentics today! It went great! I would love to do that again! Do you know how happy people are about getting a free eyeliner?! They were VERY happy!
The only people that did not want one were old ladies that don't wear eyeliner ever!

It went really fast.....looked at my watch and it was 2pm before I took my break! There are some off dates next week for it but I can't do them between my other job and being out of town for a concert (John Mayer! ) but I'd love to do CQ again!

Lots of promoworks people in that store today! One lady walked the entire day pushing a cart with dog treats in it! Another lady had some hair wrap stuff, have no idea what that is and she was not sure either. She thinks it was for ethnic hair but she said she was giving it to everyone because she was not sure what it was!?

I'm guessing she does not have internet because she asked if I booked my stuff on line and I told her yes, she said "that would not work for me"!

You would think her paper work would mention that in the selling points or something but she said it did not say anything about it?!

I saw a girl that kept coming over to the make up area and looking around.....she had on khaki pants, a heavy sweater (keep in mind, it's summer in Kansas ) and hiking boots!! What made me notice her was her black apron...just like we wear....but I have no idea what she was doing!
