Same ol' not having events anymore... Gah!

No events at all are showing here. There were some I was hoping would go to off-dates and they have disappeared. Also some in cities farther away then I will drive, they are gone also. Nothing showing on TMT or SPi. Strange.

When I do a double event they make me work 4 hours each, so I do not take a break in between, I need to get home, Don't have time to be taking a break.. But I do run to the bathroom and grab a coke on the way back..
Yesterday I worked 9-1 and then 1-5.... The last time I did a double event I worked 10-2 then 2-6....

And just HOW do you get to do these DOUBLE EVENTS?

I'm sitting here and I never even see a damn off date event anymore these days. Because there's too many people like you over here referring everyone just creating all this damn competition.

I've ben doing demos for 9 years now. They should be giving the demos to those of us who have EXPERIENCE, not to you new people.

They need to quit hireing so many people.

We get double events because events have gone unbooked & MC contacts us to see if we'd work them.

I only have 3 events booked for June.. I'm not worried - this is the slow time of the year... perhaps with SO much experience you should branch out & work for some other demo companies... I suspect they'd be knocking down your door to get such an experienced & pleasant employee!

BTW I haven't referred one person, thank you very much.

I used to do demos for ProDemoWorks. I do not like having to do that independant contractor crap. If you can tell me the name of another company that takes out the taxes for me instead of me having to do them myself then I am gone.

I havent tried looking on the site since yesterdya but brivers I as well have nothing except one event booked for June, target has come up twice and the vent i have a couple of weekday events but nothing liek may, i worked every weekend in may. Hopefully it wont be too slow but let me tell you i am secretly happy cuz i wanted a break. I work full time during the week so having to work both days of the weekends was beginning to take its toll. lol

the site looks kinda nice... pooh girl, where did you have to keep inputting, i just looged in and clicke don book an event with no problems.... altho nothign new for me, im sure they will put them up when i am in disney tomorrow as it seems that they put up stuff around here on firdays, oh well!!

Nothing new for me either, I'd love to book something on June 23-24 though. That would give me one event per weekend before I leave for WDW. Steady check but not overworking myself before I leave (which I have a tendency to do if the events are there!)

After about 1:30pm it want a little faster and I was in a snooty part of town so that was no fun! Glad it's over! Now just waiting for the paychecks!

I was in Calhoun yesterday, If you want to book a double you have to be willing to drive at least 45 miles away... the last time it was Dawsonville which was also about 50 miles away... I'm not taking any events away from anyone... I only get them once they are off date.. I do not refer anyone to work for this company, I even tell them the wrong company when they ask me who I work for so I do not get more competition... I have not worked any targets in at least 2 months, except for my local target when I did coke plus and flat earth chips..... You just have to be quick. Sorry you feel so angry.

Back from todays double that was 40 miles away. Martha, Daniel only approves a double a couple of days before the event. If someone wanted the event that badly, they had WEEKS to book it. And since it was only booked days in advance, I didn't get a kit obviosly. So, I made due with left overs & from extra cereal from yesterdays event. Hey, I've tried given up this store. I've given out at least 3 cards to other demo people who live closer. No idea why they haven't applied yet. This store has more demos go unbooked than any store in the state that I can see.

The other thing that happens in this state is that lots of Targets get left unbooked. Hate to tell ya Martha, I don't think this thread really has generated as much competition for you as you seem to think.

Sorry you are so miserable with your work. Maybe its time to change fields. I did that last year. I'm sooooo much happier now.

Anyway. I was so surprised how fast the day went.

I got myself a nice new super comfy super soft short sleeve polo shirt from Lane Bryant (now WomanWithin.com). Wish I had found this shirt before. I hate the way a few of my other short sleeve ones fit.

WEIRD!!!!! I just picked up a Snyder Multi Grain Snack off-date at my nearest SuperWM. Originally scheduled for TOMORROW 6/1. I NEVER SAW THOSE! ????? I'm going to do it 6/7 instead of tomorrow. Give myself a day off tomorrow instead. Even if I don't get a kit, I have a Snyder tableclothe from last time....somewhere around here. I'm assuming someone unbooked this the day before they were to do it...and won't bring the kit to the store.

I wonder why it doesn't have an off-date for the weekend available...just weekdays. I would love to do it Sunday...and get out of having to go to SIL's cook-out. lol

oh no, I didn't mean I had to keep logging into the site once I logged on. The old site remembered the id and password so I never really had to do much to log on laziness on my part. The new site doesn't seem to allow that.

I was on the hunt for light weight black pants yesterday. All the ones I own are for winter it seems. Well I found all sorts of light weight black cropped pants and capris but we can't wear those or can we? I don't think we can. I finally found a pair of long pants that didn't seem too thick so hopefully those will work out. I've been burning up coming out of the store on the weekend
