From the way the email was phrased, I would hazard to guess that those markets tend to not have all their events booked...

I know quite a few, that are just too far for me to drive, never seem to get booked. Perhaps it's an incentive to get a better response. Sorry

Is this for ALL THE TIME, or just for a certain weekend? I misread an email once & it was only for a certain weekend because they really needed people to book them.

No email yet. Can I ask when it was sent (date / time)? I got one of those not too long ago - maybe in the last week? I'll go see if I still have it.

ETA: OK, the last one of those that I got was on 2/23. Titled: Additional Pay for this weekend. And there was no misunderstanding that email. It was pretty clear. So, I'm suspecting you received another email obviously. Can't wait for my copy now!!! Does it say cost of living or anything? There are lots of events that go unbooked here in MA...especially when they have events at WM & Target the same weekends.

Let me know how they go. I was looking at them when I was at the grocery store and was thinking about the same thing but the budget is tight this week and it would not 'go' with dinner so I skipped it. I hope I don't have a difficult time on Saturday. Who knows...I may just worry myself into getting them and trying them out tomorrow.

RESULTS FROM THE SPLSHMTN99 TEST KITCHEN:
I made the Pillsbury Grands Flaky Buttermilk biscuits in my toaster oven for dinner. I have a Cuisinart digital toaster oven, so your results might vary. It beeps when pre-heated & has a built in timer; so I feel my temp & times were pretty accurate. I followed our event instructions: cheap foil on the tray; cooked 4 at a time; and cooked for 13 minutes. Came out EXCELLENT! I'm not worried at all about this weekend.

I think depending on amount of time you leave the oven door open, you'll probably want to pre-heat again before baking another batch. Mine took about 2 minutes to come back up to temp.

I did use a cheap plastic spatula to remove the biscuits from the foil, because I didn't want to burn my fingers. They were very easy to remove. Only 1 was a bit stuck to the foil. I imagine we'll be using fresh foil with each baking.

Also, I can see the biscuits will probably cool off very fast --- especially while set up in the diary dept. I'm going to keep the cooked biscuits that I haven't cut up yet wrapped in foil pocket to try to keep them warm a bit longer. Depending on how fast the samples go or don't go....I might reduce to cooking just 2 or 3 at a time so they will be fresher.

Maybe I shouldn't have posted the news but I figured it would get out anyway... Didn't someone just mention seeing an increase on their checks & wondering where it came from?!

Jeez guys I'm really sorry... I had a really bad day at my FT job today & this news just made me happy..... I'll go back to my hole now.

ETA: I checked Snagajob & regardless of where you searched (my state or Michigan for example) the ads for MC now say earn up to $85 for a five hour event...

On-date execution shall be defined as the execution of an event on the originally scheduled date that has been booked with sufficient time to ship any necessary kits. You may book your event before the scheduled date, but it will only be considered on-date if there is sufficient time to get a kit to you, if one is required.

I'm taking that to read as.....don't wait until the last minute to book an ON-DATE. And book an OFF-DATE as soon as they appear. That's what I've been doing. Once they got a kit to me in 1 days time...still days before the event. Doesn't worry me.

I would gather they send it out to ALL stores... as the boxes always say ATTN store manager hold until such and such a date and then toss.

Good to know. So you could always book one of those on short notice then...since "allegedly" the kit would be there.
