Well I have to respond to a few thingssorry i know everyone hates the bullets but for my focus its easier..lol)
1. I am in FL and did not get the email.
2. For the poster who said cost of living in florida voids that, I dont know what FL, you have heard about but cost of living here is ridiculous!!! OUr paychecks just cant keep up with all the stufff hittig us lately, ins premiums, houses, taxes for those houses, etc,etc.
3. I was the one that mentioned a pay increase but that was due to a special event. I later went on to lok at my paperwork from when i was first hired and there it was.

Ok lol again sorry i just had to focus on my answer, its way to early for me to think straight..LOL.....but yes that sounds like great news and I finally saw the changes on the site yesterday.
Splsh, I am with you here in FL. WHile the events around me book up quick, sometimes we get emails and there are DOZENS of events open for florida, maybe they are ryin gto get people to sign up. I know there is a store in KEy LArgo, I am in Miami, and I wold perhaps do it for addtl payu and mileage, its just too far to venture to otherwise, but it always stays unbooked. (and also i can eat at sonny's, the only one down here if i do that store..hehehe)

Dodukes lets be mad together and find out whats going on, I am in Atlanta and not North Ga or South Ga where gas is always 20c cheaper you can still buy a nice house under 150k. The city is growing by leaps and bounds and yes I sent an email off this morning asking why are certain areas getting paid more. I constantly do anywhere between 11-16 demo's for them a month and I want to know why a someone coming in gets paid more. This is not a different demo company, we all work for the same company but you are getting paid more than me for less experience, Puleeze!! Not fair and I want a legitimate answer

SO, I am not mad at those getting the extra pay, but I do want find out why all of us are not getting paid extra.

I didnt realize you were in Atlanta, I have to tell you we went on vacaation a couple of years ago and I LOVED it there. Of course I had to check out the Varsity...hehehe, we saw it on the food channel afterwards.

I dont know why everyone is not getting paid extra, maybe they are trying it in some areas first. PLease share your response with us, I have to tell you taht I am in FL and like I said I didnt get an email about extra pay, so possibly its something else altogether. The last time I thought extra pay it turned out I had worked and enhanced event (without realizing it) and thats why I got $27 instead of $12 for compliance or soimething on that list..lol

Hey I am really curios with all of you, has gas jumped in your area dramatically?? Just 2 weeks ago today i got gas for 2.25, its now 2.45(cehapest) and 2.53 at some places?? Just curios how much ya'lll are paying??

I bought gas last Saturday at $2.27 and now it's $2.55 - Central OH.

Last week or so our gas was down to $1.90, Now we are paying $2.25...... I was hoping it would drop down to $1.75... Oh well.... But our lowest so far this year was $1.80...... that is why I was hoping it would get to $1.75.... Hopefully it will drop down again soon....

In PA 2 weeks ago gas was $2.19 and yesterday we paid $2.45.

I just checked my last paycheck and was definitely paid extra. It was a 5 hour off date which is 60.00 and I was paid 70.00. It was the Hershey's Reese's and Kit Kat event. I'm not sure if there was some type of special promotion.
I'm getting very frustrated here because there seems to be events at the Walmarts near my house every weekend, but I haven't seen ANY listed on MC.
Does anyone demo for more than one company? I seem to remember someone asking this when I read through all these posts last November but I'm not sure.
The search function isn't that great.

I simply used the Snag-a-job website... When I joined it said UP TO $70 for a 5 hour event... Now it says UP TO $85.

Don't worry I havent emailed and dont plan to either. But yes I agree, we should be careful of how we word emails because maybe it was just meant for some people, we dont want them yanking back the raise because we are bitter..lol....

and yes i agree that kotex is going ot be very long without kit, at that point i may just take the cut and go home. The kmart i am going to and that i love going to cuz its close is just VERY slow all the time, i have never ran out of anything there.

Last I noticed this week, gas was $2.45 at Walmart Optima station - the cheapest around. And a nice house with more than 1 bathroom & around 1600 sq ft STARTS at $300,000 here in central MA in the country. MORE $ if you want to cut the ride to work to less than 45 minutes.

Which explains why we still live in a condo far from DH's work after 14 yrs.

Of course I am interested. Anything that means more events. Maybe even some Wal Marts again. I have seen only Target events since December.

Does anyone have an e-mail for SPI? I would be curious about asking them if they have more events here (I am with TMT.) I have not got an e-mail about the extra $10-I am in FL too. I get a ton of junk mail though so I could have missed one!

Well, don't everyone fall over at once, but I just booked my first event! After all my complaining , I just went on the booking site and low and behold, there was an event at a store that is less than 30 minutes from my house. Finally! It's for Quaker Oats. I am excited and very nervous at the same time. Hopefully it will go well.

A lot of us TMT'ers would like an opportunity for SPI events, especially WalMart. We seem to only have Target events to choose from and the scarce KMart. It'll be interesting to see what shakes out with this.

I just checked Snag-A-Job in my area and it now shows up to $85 also and the company is Mass Connections Inc./Spi. It use to say just Mass Connections.
