I have Archer Farm Cookies today, I'm supposed to give one wrapped cookie out (just under 400 cookies were shipped to the store) but it doesnt say what to do if you run out of a samples ... not even 'stay & promote'.... I know this Target, I'll be out of samples by 2:30.

Do we have to set up in Food Avenue for Target?

Food Avenue is in an area that nobody goes in unless they are leaving the store, and it is impossible to sell anything there.

I usually set up at the entrance BY Food Avenue & have not had any issues.

Well if I run out like I think I will. I'll just call the weekend peeps hopefully I get to go home early. It's going to be beautiful today 60.

If you guys run out, come help me hand out 2400 Archer Farms snack bars. ;)

I'm sure hoping those directions are wrong...and its just 400 bars; not 400 boxes.

Yesterday I did my first event and it went really well! I sold out of all of my product 15 minutes before I was supposed to close down. I had a great guy helping me out that worked at Target and he wrote a nice comment for me. I handed out 150 samples of cereal. Today I have archer farms coffee. From the sounds of the directions I am just handing out packets of coffee and not actually making it. Sounds pretty easy to me!

I just booked several jobs for myself. I am so excited!

I have a question though. What is the MC Vault? I don't recall anyone mentioning that before? I'm doing the Stouffer's Corner Bistro Flatbread at Harris Teeter on the 24th. It says it has a toaster oven in it? Does this stay with the store?

Today was screwed up. I go to Target (same store as yesterday) thinking I'm supposed to do Archer Farms Orange Macadamia Nut Bars. She says "we have your soda chilled". I laughed & said, no, that was yesterday.

She tells me she had been emailed that todays event had been changed to Archer Farm Italian Soda. :confused3 I open the kit & its just a table & a poster - like it should be for the Nut Bars. How am I going to do soda with no cups, napkins, or gloves. :sad2:

We call MC weekend line & they say it was changed because product couldn't be delivered to store. Nice of them to tell the store 3 days in advance, but not tell me.

Turns out I'm supposed to give away a bottle to each customer. There are only 23 4pks (92 bottles). Not the 120 4pks (480 bottles) new instructions say to buy. By the time we had gotten everything squared away with MC & convincing the LOD she had to QMOS the soda it was about 1:20pm. I ran out of soda by 2:15pm. Nothing to promote, nothing to hand out. Broke down, cleaned up & went home.

I'll get paid for 2 hours they said.

Well, I was one for two today. This morning's AF Coffee was slow, but product and table kit was found promptly. This afternoon's AF Soft Cookies was a no go. Product couldn't be located. LOD wanted to requisition full cookie packages for me to sample. Weekend line at MC said "no" since this was an individual packaging event. This is the second time in 4 weeks this store has not found product. Today, they only spent 5 - 7 minutes looking for it. I told MC on the phone and wrote it on my report form that minimal time was spent looking for the product. Eventhough this store is closest to my house, I think I'll start booking more reliable stores if product is being delivered to the store.

Well the weekend line was WRONG... the sample packs were the regular cookie packages, each cookie in the package are individually wrapped.

Today's cookie event was over in record time 2 1/2 hr. Might have made it to 3 hrs if so many families weren't there. Grandma, Grandpa and all of the kids it was like a family reunion.:confused3

Sure hope they put up new jobs soon.

The regular packages off the shelf have cookies individually wrapped? How many cookies are in a pack? Never got as far as looking to see if there was inventory on the shelf. This Target has a very small grocery section and I can't imagine they'd have enough product on the shelf to last very long, especially with the droves of families that come to this store.

Congratulations on your events. Did your event instructions say to bring a toaster oven? If so, you'll need to supply it and take it home with you. You'll receive additional pay for bringing an appliance - I believe the toaster oven is around $6.

ok I just re-read the directions. The MC vault is already at the store. It will have cutting board, extension coard, set of hot pads, knife, spatula, scissor and toaster oven with tray in it.

Ok apparently it stays at the store. I haven't read of anyone doing a promo at Harris Teeter (grocery store). It's about an hour from my house but I wanted to get some jobs in.

Yep... 8 individually wrapped cookies per package. They could have easily QMOS'd the product & you could have executed.

I had a weird day. I started out with the Balsamic Vinegar with strawberries (I think it would have gone better with cucumbers). Then about 3 hours in, my lead said that MC needed someone to hand out the Archer Farms free boxed dinners. So I had to punch back in - and the lady from MC wrote on the faxed paperwork for a 4 hour shift, but I don't think so! I stayed for the rest of the 5 hours I originally was scheduled for. And I am EXHAUSTED, I really pushed those boxes for the 2 hours, my arms and head are tired. :)

I probably gave out close to 375 boxes in those 2 hours and someone else (who showed up late due to the time change) gave out the rest after I left.

Hopefully I get paid correctly, I was certainly not staying until 6pm! I wasn't the one who called in to not work.

so today i did Archer Farms Signature Blend Coffee at target. it was cool they had my tabel took about 15 min to locate coffee. then an hour into it i realize that this one boox didn't hold all 400 samples so i ask for them to see if there are 3 more boxes meanwile i ran out. so i took a break then they located the rest of the coffe samples i only had about 15 left at the end of the day and my instructions said to give to lod but then also to destroy product. i just gave them to the lod but the funny thing was people thatough i was handing out hot coffe not actually bags of it and a ? on my form said what was the reatcion after sampling. they have to take it home to sample so how am i suppose to know what they will all think tommorow morning:confused:

hopefully more jobs will come i really want to do the pear one but i work :(

Pace Frozen Entrees

directions Place one package in microwave and heat on high for 30 minutes. so you just stand there for 30 min with nothing to do???? that would drive me insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i don't have a microwave yet do they still pay extra for using your microwave?

30 minutes for a frozen entree in a microwave? That doesn't seem right!

However, I have had cooking demos where it took me 20 - 30 minutes each time to make something. I hate that! If at ST, you use their items, I don't know where you plan to do the demo?
