Yes, 16 is the age minimum. Just be aware, that if you are thinking of this as a summer job, summer is our SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW time of the year. Almost dead or no jobs in some parts of the country.

I'll be giving out cereal, granola bar, cracker and cookie samples. Should be fun trying to keep up with all the different products. At least they all have the same selling points!

Has anyone had their MC card not work and used their own money to clock in/out? My card worked to buy the Diet Pepsi Max the other day but it would not work to clock out. I just used my own money, sent that receipt with a note and also sent an email. I hope I get paid ok.

The 6/30 Coppertone / Cott Beverage events are now available for off-date well into July. I must be desparate because I just booked it for Thurs 7/12.

Oh yay, another Coppertone event. At least this one has the tea with it...it wasn't half as bad as the others. I think I've now officially done Coppertone at EVERY Walmart in my 40 mile radius. I don't think anyone else did these. lol

Yes it has happened to me those cards wear out. If you have to use it before a replacement comes try having them enter the numbers them self at the cashier or place it in a plastic bag then run it through.

I decided to call the Kmart 45 minutes away about trying to get a duplicate receipt possibly at my nearest store. It turns out that a DUPLICATE receipt can only be obtained by someone who works in the office & during the weekday - and only at the original store. And you need your card obviously. Glad I didn't drive back there for nothing.

If you are returning something, any store can pull up the transaction from you card, but can't print a duplicate receipt.

Can't wait to see their face when I tell them its a receipt for M&Ms for less than 75 cents.

I have plans with DH tomorrow, but hoping to try to find some time to get to the store. If not, Wednesday is my last shot....before I have to mail in the paperwork.

I had trouble last Sunday with my card. I swiped it a few times, then the clerk tried it various ways, but it didn't want to work. I ended up calling and they told me to try a different register. So, I switched registers and it didn't work again in the machine. This clerk took it and ran it through the register's card reader and it went thru then.
Didn't work first time today, but just swiped again and it was fine.

We were really slow today. I did Kashi and the other woman had Sutton and Dodge steaks. I did sell 30 boxes, which I think was pretty good with the low traffic in the store.

I actually only had to QMOS 3 packages! I tell you what, they just kept coming though! One person after another, some waited even for the next steak to get done cooking! My demo captain let me QMOS some rub too. Big hit! I like busy days like that!

Yippy!! Events listed finally! CQ Cosmetics which is the last event I did and really liked it! Just booked for 7/13!
I know most of you prefer to do food over cosmetics but this event went REALLY fast for me because everyone just loved getting a free eye liner sampe for some reason!

There is a new event up for 7/16. It's cheerios, chocolate chex and nature valley cereal. Finally! Now if only they could become off-dates.

I've had trouble with the site all afternoon. I can get logged in OK, but when I select "Book an Event" the "loading" keeps spinning or I get an IE error. Hopefully when I get in, the cereal event will be available. I've never seen a CQ Cosmetics event, but I guess there could be a first.

Tomorrow I'm doing an off-date Asian Sensation/Red Baron at a WM I've never been to before. Hope I like the store.

Went back to Kmart today & got a duplicate "receipt". It took ALOT of explaining...and waiting...but the office lady finally pulled up the transaction. I needed to know the time & register #. Luckily, I sort of did.

Its just the transaction printed on computer feed paper....nothing fancy...date, time, register, card #, item bought, price.....and I had to ask her to stamp the store name & address on it since that wasn't printed on it. Hopefully that will work.

After that...we went jetskiing.

It's offica,l ebooking is possessed. It's pulling towns from every direction in the state all not in the 20 mile radius I chose. It is soo slow in loading.
