Yep, it's definitely possessed! lol I finally after many attempts was able to pull up some cities. Was able to book the cereal for July 19th.

Received a mass email about new events being available...the Thursday 7/19 cereal event. Finally was able to get into the site & got mine. Hoping for some off-dates too since its Walmart.

Went back to Kmart today & got a duplicate "receipt". It took ALOT of explaining...and waiting...but the office lady finally pulled up the transaction. I needed to know the time & register #. Luckily, I sort of did.

Its just the transaction printed on computer feed paper....nothing fancy...date, time, register, card #, item bought, price.....and I had to ask her to stamp the store name & address on it since that wasn't printed on it. Hopefully that will work.

After that...we went jetskiing.

Ahhhhhhhh I would love for my plane to be headed to Florida! Having a hard time adjusting to NOT going on a disney cruise this summer!
But with the way the airlines are going these days, delays, cancelled flights etc...we could end up in Florida yet..........or at least our luggage might!!

No. My daughter and I were there in June 2005 with some other moms/daughters for a fun little trip! This however will be the 1s time for my mom (turning 70 a few days before we leave!) and my oldest sister and my husband!
They are all very glad my daughter and I have been before so we're making it much easier for them by knowing just a little bit about things!

I am having Disney withdrawals bad I got a pin code in the mail yesterday with 59.00 value room rate and want to use it sooooo bad. We just came from Disney in April. Trying to convince my hubby that we can take a little weekend trip. But only doing three demos in July is not going to cut it.

Hi everyone - I am going to do my first event this Sat. It's the Coppertone/tea one. Can you tell me if I have to wear black pants and black shoes with the t-shirt and hat they provided? and should I wear the apron? I have black pants, but they would look too dressy for a t-shirt I think.

Also, I didn't get a beach ball with the kit, is that something I should call about or just ignore?

I'm thinking that no one does this in my area. When I search for dates, two of the Walmarts near me aren't booked. I've never seen anyone at the Walmart I'm working at this Sat. so I'm thinking they might be as new to this as I am. I absolutely do not want to take jobs away from anyone who has been doing this, but rather fill in.

Thanks to everyone for all the great posts, I had no idea anything like this was even available. I've made it to page 132 and several of the most recent pages - sorry if these questions have been asked already.

You do need to wear your black pants and shoes for the Coppertone event. It does not list the apron or bouffant as being needed for the event though. The black pants I wear were also to dressy for a tshirt so I got a cheap pair of black pants at Wal-Mart.
I also haven't recieved a beach ball with neither of my kits.

Thanks so much, I'll go find a different pair - what I have is made out of that travelers material.

Do you think black Keds are okay for this? Does anyone wear Mary Jane Crocs?

I went to my store the other day to look at the tea, they have 2 6-packs of each, only in one flavor. I wanted to go check to see if more was on order, but figured they better get to know me first.

I'm curious as to whether people will want to try sunscreen on in the store. I don't think I would. The tatoos are adorable though - does anyone bring a sponge so kids can apply them there?

For coppertone, its t-shirt if it fits & NO apron. If t-shirt doesn't fit, then its your white shirt WITH an apron. You need your hat too. We are instructed to wear the bouffant too, but you'll find several people hear saying they've been told they don't need to....and you'll notice no other demo company ever has a bouffant on. But if the store tells you to wear it because you are doing food, then wear it. (health code)

No, I've never brought a sponge for the kids to apply tatoos. I just hand them out & tell them to put them on at home. I don't APPLY anything to people --- ever. Tatoos, coppertone, makeup, lotion........

And you are right, people don't really want to spray coppertone onto themselves in the store. If they are interested in seeing the spray, I demonstrate it onto a napkin. I show how it works upside down.

As for the store not having any tea out the other day, its possible it may have been on an end cap...OR it will be restocked before the date of the demo. You were still a week early. Alot can change (stock, price & location of product) in one week.

They also wouldn't know if its on order. Walmarts order is done my computer based upon what goes thru the register. Most of it is done that way...but not everything. Trying to get someone to tell you if it was or will be ordered would be almost impossible. Don't worry about that stuff. Its not your job. You have instructions on what to do IF you have no or low product. One thing with this job.....learn to just "go with it".

No, sorry. I flaked. That bouffant was more of a general statement...not specific to this event. I should have said IF we are instructed to wear the bouffant......

92 degrees & just got back from event. I'm hot & tired. lol
