I did a search and got lots of recommendations for different types of transportation, but I really want to surprise DD. She would flip if a limo pulled up to take us to Port Canaveral.

A couple of the sites said they couldn't accomodate the luggage for 4 ppl. Also, the cheapest, roundtrip rate I found was $290.

Any recommendations and cost info? Also, can 4 ppl fit in? If it's big enough, we could put the luggage with us

Thanks in advance!
Kim

We have done a limo the last two years from WDW to the port. I seem to remember the cost was around 300. We used Happy Limo both times and they were fine.

First year it was just the wife, 5 yr old daughter and me. Last year we took along two adult friends of ours. For 4 adults and a child the luggage fit nicely..and we don't pack light! It's a fun way to begin the vacation. And the DD loved the tv/dvd to watch all the way to the Magic. Have fun.

Happy Limosuine held our family of six and another family of three along with around 15 bags... not sure it was cheap though :sad2:

We have used Happy and Tiffany- we liked Tiffany better- had 4 people and 8 pieces of luggage plus cary-pns and we were fine. They have a coupon on line, too. Be sure to ask about if tips are included or not- it depends ont he company!

A town car from Tiffany is almost as impressive as a lime and much cheaper!

We used Southern Elegance Limo last fall...and had a wonderful ride. Super nice stetch limo...that was VERY VERY new. It was around $300 round trip...without the tip. They were very friendly, clean and helped 100% with our luggage. We did NOT pack light at all...and were able to get all of our things in with no problem. They also provided Ice cold beverages (soda) and offered to make a courtisy stop at a store if we needed. OH....and they have XXL disney friends that you can request to ride along also (super large stuffed Mickey's, Minnie's...and more).

We also booked the limo as a suprise to our DD's...they loved it...totally flipped. We told them we had to book the cheepest transportation possable...and told them to keep an eye out for a run down transport van...we also told them that the ride didn't matter...since we were going to be on an awesome ship...so not to look to disapointed when the old van pulled up. The look on their faces when the limo came and called our name...was pricless. :goodvibes

But anyway I highly recomed Southern Elegance limo.

We used Southern Elegance too, this past January. It was also a surprise for our 4 DD's! It was so funny seeing there faces as our driver picked up our bags up at baggage claim and took them out to this white stretch limo!

We paid $290 for a return trip (tip was extra) and there were 6 of us. We had more than enough room, even when Minnie rode with us on the way back to the airport.

My girls also loved the pop that was being chilled for us - he even stocked some extra Diet Coke on the ride back as we ran out the first time!

The girls only complaint - they wished the airport was more than 45 minutes away from the Port. They could have rode around in style for much longer!

DH has also decided that limo service is the only way to go from now on - his vacation starts as soon as we take off the runway in Buffalo and does not end until we return to Buffalo airport!

Another vote here for Southern Elegance!!!! We just used them ($290 rt + tip)
Very clean limo - Very nice drivers - Was really impressed with the service we received from them -

My two cents:

Lincoln Towncar based limousines will have ENORMOUS trunk space. PLENTY of space for 4 peoples luggage. Not to mention, the driver can also keep luggage up in the front compartment with him/her.

Cadillac based limousines will have much smaller trunks. This is where some will run into problems. But again, there's the space up front. Some limousines even have the front passenger seat removed for the express purpose of luggage. And worst case scenario, some carryons sit in with you.

Thanks so much! Not too much of a difference in prices between the companies. Although I did receive a $120 each way price from Accuracy Limo. Anyone heard of them?
