As I type, I'm watching Toy Story on ABC Family with my family. I built the kids a tent. Laying in there for a moment, sent me back 30 years. Similar to the feelings I get walking into MK.

YAY! I'm all for acting like a kid when appropriate! This topic came up last night with my fiance. I am a child of the 70s and we for some reason started singing the Toys R Us theme song. My tangential mind wandered back to my childhood and the feeling I had when I would see that Christmas Toys R Us animated commercial with Geoffrey and his parents in front of the fireplace and the song "it's a Toys R Us time of year"... It made me little sad that I didn't have that same feeling anymore around Christmastime - the magic, he called it. We had to youtube the commercial for a retro moment. Sure I still want toys but they are more like iPods, iPhones, shoes, etc. But I sometimes wish my life was as simple as wanting my Holly Hobbie Colorforms, Weeble Wobbles (the originals - not the ugly, chunky ones of late), and Shrinky-Dinks.

Then I realized that I need a childishness fix. I want to color again.
