Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

amy fantastic work on your half and getting such a lovely medal!

carrie thanks for the weather advice- thinking of getting a neck warmer that i can lift over my mouth to warm the air a little. It was lightly snowing tonight during our run- a lovely sight, but weird on your eyelashes!

Did 6.1miles tonight including a time trial and some warm up (ha ha ha) laps 55 mins. Followed by typical 10mins stretch etc

Awesome job AMY!! Love the medal, very nice! Nothing beats your first half marathon!

Yea! No altitude issues tonight! (I guess it does help that I'm back home! ) 3.5 miles in 42 minutes.

Next up: California International Marathon Relay! Whoo Hoo!:woohoo:

Popped to the lovely warm gym to do my tempo run as per training plan! 5 miles 42 mins and 10 mins stretch/exercises. Went well so feeling better about things. :goodvibes

Week's total will be 20.32 miles and 243 mins.

Hi Warriors! I love the Space Coast bling! Great job Amy.

Been putting in the steps. Glad to see everyone working at it. You guys rock!

Tuesday, 3 miles in approx. 35 minutes.

Since then, I'm sort of tapering. :rolleyes1 I'm doing the Bridge Run on Saturday. It's a 5k, followed by a 10k. There's a nice 15 minute break in there for me to get really cold and freaked out by starting another race. I'm thinking that the finish of the 5k is about 1 mile from the start of the 10k, so I guess we take the buses?! I'm hoping there's a little clarification of that issue in my packet or I may be wandering the streets of Savannah!

Amy- loved the race report and loved the bling. I'm putting that one in my list of potential races for next year! Isn't it cool to think you've gone from doing nothing to finishing a half?!

So today was supposed to be my long run. I started out, and about a mile into it, my knees started hurting. Not IT band...more on the inside. I gave it another mile to see what would happen, and they were stilly achey. So I decided to do the responsible thing and turn around and not do my long run today.

So I ended the y with...

3 mile run
16 mile bike
core and stretching
2 hours

Hey guys!! I did 4 miles tonight. 58min 17 sec. 10 min cooldown.

Up next is my Jingle Bell Jog on Sat. 5K!!

Go Warriors!!

Finally got the stats for the remainder of November:

11/08-14 = 29.2 miles 6 hr 49 min
11/15-21 = 25.1 miles 8 hr 15 min
11/22-30 = 35.5 miles 13 hr 55 min

Good evening Warriors! I should have worn my Garmin to the malls today. I sure did put in some miles. I did manage to get in 3.79 miles and 59 minutes tonight though.

What a week. Next week *should* be better.

DId my 5K RUn through the LIghts last night. Met funwalker ther. Very fun! DId 43:30, as we all walked together. Very nice break from the rest of my life!

Today was 22 degrees and I had a good time out in it. I'm hoping the long miles will be a go tomorrow.

Good luck with those weekend miles Warriors.

Thanks for all the race congrats! I got an email and in 2009 it will be 11/29!

Finally got back to doing a little something yesterday. I took a little break after the 1/2. I did 30 day shred for the first time yesterday. That was a workout!! Wow! Total time with stretching about 30 minutes.

I'll get a run in at some point this weekend. I've got alot going on. Next Saturday/Sunday will be our annual WDW xmas weekend.

Amy

Hey Warriors....

I did my end of the year race today!! Yeah double miles and time!!!

24th Annual Jingle Bell Jog 5K in Sunrise FL. I did a race report on that thread.

Official time:
38min 12sec in 3.10 miles is a 12:18 pace. That would be a Personal Best for me in that distance.
(Garmi said 3.13 miles 38min 7sec for a 12:10 pace, oh well!)

COngrats to those who have done there end of the year race and good luck to those who haven't done theirs yet!

Tracy

Happy Sunday Warriors!!!!!

I'm sitting here nervously awaiting the start of the Gators VS. red tide SEC Championship Game.:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

This morning I ran 15 miles in 2:30. Right at a 10 mpm pace. Actually did the "run 7/walk 1" thing.

Lifted for about 1/2 hour yesterday.

P.S. - No story here, but puh-leeeeeeeze WEAR YOUR SEAT BELTS !!!!!!!

eta: Ok, so it's Saturday. What's the deal???

I got it done today! Started out ok, but snow started falling it became a Snowy 18 miles, very slow going, cold, frozen uneven ground, and snowfalling very pretty. I didn't want to do the TM, but I probably should have. I did like it out there--but probably not the smartest thing I've done. Took lots longer and I'm thinking if this is the real pace, there is no way I will qualify Goofy.
