Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Lily you are so lucky to have snow. I miss the snow. :sad2: where we live now we just get ice and that is rare. Anyway you will do great at the Goofy I would look like a circus act if I tried to run in the snow. Anyway onto mileage report.
12-01 7.29 mile run 1:09
12-03 5.09 mile run 49 minutes
12-04 4.01 mile run 37 minutes
12-05 7.05 mile run 1:07
12-06 8.05 mile run 1:16

Helena Tipping 10km ticked off for me! was really icy and -1oC for much of the race so not a great time- 54mins 12 secs. However.... i carried on to finish the distance on my plan so totalled 9.2 miles!!!! Whole run took 82 minutes. Never thought i'd be one of those people to do extra distance after a race :scared1:

I guess race distance x2= 12.4miles, and extra 3miles= 15.4miles today!!!! 92 mins when add stretch time. :rotfl: i love double miles.

Congratulations Kate!! Another Warrior finishes a race before the end of the year!

GO Us!!

I did 5 min warmup
12 miles in 2hr 57min 46 sec.
10 min cool down.

Have a great Sunday everyone!

Good evening Warriors! Congratulations Tracy and Kate for getting the extra races in.

Today I did 8 miles in 117:47 minutes.

My totals for last week are: 14.86 miles and 215:34 minutes.

Finally got the stats for the remainder of November:

11/08-14 = 29.2 miles 6 hr 49 min
11/15-21 = 25.1 miles 8 hr 15 min
11/22-30 = 35.5 miles 13 hr 55 min
Good job Warriors.

I've got the miles for this week to add to my totals.
12/01-07 = 28.0 miles 12 hr 45 min

Hey Warriors!

It wasn't pretty, but I did the Savannah Enmark Bridge Run!!

So, I think my grand total was around 1:54 and of course 9.3 miles-- double points, baby!! The 5k finished at the start for the 10k. If you were crazy, like me, you continued on from the finish to the start of the 10k.

It was a really fun run although I missed seeing WISHers! You go over the Savannah River Bridge from an island to Savannah for the 5k, and then basically over and back again for the 10k. Let me tell you, the novelty of running over a bridge wears thin quickly!

The best part? I finished 316 out of 328 for the "Double Pumpers" so I wasn't exactly fast, but I'm not injured and I really got in my long run for my Donald training! Plus, more time towards the team, right?!

I'll try to post a race report later with some pictures (of course I ran with my camera in true Disney style).

Time for a run down i think!

Jen what a great race- you did so well! All credit to you for being a 'double pumper', love that term.

Barbara that was a fantastic 8 miles! Thanks for the congrats too

Roxythey are great miles that you're reporting, consistent as ever lovely warrior!

Jim awesome 15miles, how are you finding the run/walk?

Tracy  for your jingle run and personal best!!!! You did brilliantly oh inspiring one.

Carrie well done for the run through the lights. So lovely that you got to meet up with funwalker.

Keep it up warriors- what a strong end to the year for us! :woohoo:

Hey Warriors,

Jen, sounds like your run was great! :cool1:

I am finally back at it today. 2.5 miles, pilates, crunches, about 50 minutes.
The running felt pretty good for being off a week.

Tomorrow I plan 30 day shred and a walk with DD.

Amy

Good evening Warriors! Tonight I did 4.04 miles in 60 minutes.
Everybody is doing so well, which is difficult during this busy time of year. Go Warriors!!!!

Are we going to be able to keep our team next year?? I like being a Walt's Warrior and love my teammates.

I vote for staying as a group and as the Warriors.
I love being a WISH Walt's Warrior!!!!

GO TEAM!!!

Hi Team!

So the CIM Relay yesterday was sooooo much fun! This was definitely the best non-Disney race I have ever done! There are so many people out that line the course. There are DJ's and live bands too! And the last .2 miles are an experience. The running lane was narrowed on both sides by the crowd and they do nothing but clap and cheer you on. It was amazing!

So...my leg was 5.7 miles (11.4 whoo hoo double miles!) and I finished in 1 hr 15 min. (2hrs 30 min double time!) My team finished the entire marathon in 4:30!

Oh and I might sneak in one more race before the end of the year. The local Fleet Feet is having a free "thank you for participating all year" race!

Hey all!!! Planned n having time to catch up last night, but work took over. Ugh.

I'd be very happy to help if needed. I have the time.

I would be willing to help out, or even better we could rotate between people. It would be great to stay together - we are family!!

Hey Warriors!

Only made it 1 mile today. Pathetic. Had issues with Harry. I can sum it up: "I want to run," "I want to walk," "carry me." I didn't carry him, but I did go home. Truth be told, it was going to be a stonker anyway. My legs were really feeling heavy and I just wasn't happy.

Here's hoping tomorrow will be better!

I did find another 5k to run on Saturday, cause I'm all about double points and they had a cute shirt last year...;) My mom's going to do it too, which is good because she needs to put in more miles for the half training; but is bad because I now have to clean my house.:rolleyes1

Carrie I'm happy to help out too. As long as someone can tell me when to submit miles!

Yep def want to carry on being a warrior- we're the lovliest team in the whole world!!!! GO WARRIORS GO

Hey warriors, 30 Day shred and a walk for me today, so 2.6 miles and about 70 minutes.

6.7 mile run in 64 minutes this morning.

This afternoon I managed to talk myself back on the bike!!!

I rode my MTB and did a combination road/trail ride of about 8 miles in 45 minutes.

I'm seeing the Dr. in the morning about the chronic PITA back pain. Wish me Luck!

Jim : Good luck at the doctors tomorrow!!
Jen in Ga: Hey girl, sorry to hear about the stonker/Harry issues. YEAH you found another race !!! Yeah Double points for us!!

GO WARRIORS GO!!!!!!!

Tracy

Hey Warriors!

Jim, good luck with the bike riding. Hope it works out for ya.

Jen sorry Harry was being such a PITA, hey maybe Jim needs to take him he's becoming experienced with PITAs.

I am so busy right now it is unbelievable. DH and I leave for a long weekend trip to WDW on Thursday and everything is piling up on my plate before we leave. It's all good, just busy. We'll be back Tuesday eve and I am taking my w/o stuff so I can enjoy a couple of warm weather w/o.
