Jim - Can't wait until we get to see you in the blue tight and with the big S on your chest.!!! Sounds like a interesting training tool. May have to look into that.

AFM: I did 4 miles this AM (my day off today) 58min and 56min. Add 5min stretching.

Yay!!! Oh well done jen, childbirth should def count in my eyes.

Went to running club tonight- 6.1miles 56mins and 10 mins cool down. Didn't think i'd make it after an oh so painful sports massage! Was ok tho.

Keep at it studmuffin Jim :goodvibes

Welcome Goofy Baby! Congratulations Jen, job well done!!!!

2 miles and 30 minutes for me today.

40 minutes on Tuesday, pilates and crunches!

Also some vacation pics

Picture of the ponies on Ocracoke island. They are sort of wild, they fenced off a large area when the road was built out there in the 50's. We saw really wild horses on the way out to Cape Lookout 2 years ago when we were on the outer banks.

The wind scoured the sand down to black! FYI, walking down the beach with 30+ MPH winds blowing the sand is a great alternative to microdermabrasion!!

Hey Warriors, just a quick check in for me. 2.93 miles and 46 minutes.

The weekend is almost here!!!!!

Checking in live from Saratogo Springs Resort!! I realized I have not given my recent runs. Last thursday I got in 2 miles in 28 min and this past sunday I did my LR of 8 miles in 1:30:35. I got a big old blister under my big toe and did not do any more runs this past week because I wanted it to heal before EE tomorrow night. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Becky

Sorry Warriors, it has been a LAZY week for me. I did get in a mile walk last night with DD in 20 minutes.

I swear I need a week to recover from vacay.

Anyhow, I start 1/2 training on Monday, so I will definitely be posting more miles and minutes!

Tracy I am totally LOVING the slight coolness in the air. I know to anyone not from FL it would still feel hot, but I feel it!! :goodvibes I love the time of year when I can brag to everyone about how awesome the weather is down here!

AMY: I'm hearin ya!!

I did my 4 miles tonight after work instead of doing it tomorrow. Have to be out of the house by 9am and then off to tailgate. Games at noon, then back to tailgate for awhile and back home.

Hey Warriors!

Sorry to have not posted, but I have been getting in some miles after my half last Sunday. So many have had great races--way to go! JIM--congrats on the tri! Woo Hoo! And way to go Kate with the Cabbage! That is hilarious!

Monday - rest
Tuesday - 3.5 miles plus LOTS of strength training for 1:30
Wednesday - 15 miles on the bike in :55 total time
Thursday - 3.4 miles plus core work out :45 total time
Friday - cardio boxing plus strength training 1:10 total

The hammy that I pulled in last week-end's race is holding up nicely, so that is good. Looks like it was just a small strain as opposed to really being pulled. Later today I plan to get in a short tempo run.

Have a great week-end!

~Erika

Roxy you are doing so amazingly! Can't believe you're running without any rest days :worship:

Erika so pleased your hammy's not too bad. Certainly doesn't seem to be affecting your mileage!

Ok, i'm having serious pain issues yesterday and today- not sure if it's my hip or upper thigh but keep getting shock wave like pains down my leg! Meant to be out running today, but just did 2miles slow walk 40mins with slight hobble. I need to work out what's going on have another run in a couple of weeks!!!! Any bright ideas please let me know!

In the mean time i've started to plan for princess half trip next year  trying to find out what the weather will be like, because i'm only staying for one week in WDW while my parents stay out there for another week and we're not sure if it's warm enough for beach trip etc. Oh i love planning :surfweb:

Good evening Warriors! I got in my 5 miles today in 75:44 minutes. Next week I have my 1/2 in Portland, Maine. I just keep in mind that last place is better than did not finish.

Erika, I'm glad your injury wasn't as serious as it could have been. Take it easy! What did you think of the course last week?

Kate, Yikes, I hope you get your pain worked out. I'm glad you took it easy today until you find the cause of the pain. Good luck!

Roxy, good job getting in your miles.

I did a VO2 max test yesterday, so all I did was run 1.5 miles in 12 minutes/

Today about 1 hour on the weights.
