Totals Spreadsheet

Only did week 8 here, but totals will be in the spreadsheet fro last week and teh week before.

No time to do shout outs to everyone, but I am so imperssed by everyone. People who hurt and get out anyway. People recovering from surgery doing what they can. People who doubted themseoves feeling better now. People are doing teh longest miles ever (love that!). People who have had a hard time getting work outs in, but getting back in teh swing of things now. Then there's our hard worker who became a slacker. ;) ;) I love this team!

Jeff - Good luck on teh new job. I changed in AUgust and I swear I am just now in teh swing of things again!

Made it to the gym today with the kids in tow. Did a 60 minute yoga class and 2.25 miles on the t/m in 33 minutes including cool down.

Really wanted to get outside last weekend but I was majorly sidelined with a horrible sinus headache. Hoping for better conditions in the days ahead!

Hey folks!

Just wanted to say HI. Hope all is well with you! Nothing for me yesterday except :laundy:

Today a 4 mile run/RW/WR...whatever it turns out to be...is scheduled.

Stacie

Happy Wednesday Team!!

It's a bright, sunny, H-O-T day in St Augustine. About 85º F right now.

I did a 8.5 mile beach run in 83 minutes today. Nice & Easy. Better to watch the ...................... uh, scenery that way.

Keep it up folks! All of you are doing GREAT!

You're my inspiration to keep going every Day!

Monday 1:20 strength training
50 minute 5 mile run

Wednesday 6.35 mile run 1:02

Finally gtting back on my feet.:)

Yep, you guys are amazing! Look at all these posts since i last looked!

I did my short run today with my newly more secured nike plus sensor (i've cut the pouch in half so it's more secure on my laces). It seems that i'm running a bit faster than i thought outside- 2.5miles in 20minutes average pace 8min 30, just need to keep that up for the longer ones.

:lmao: Jim, "Nice & Easy. Better to watch the ...................... uh, scenery that way" nice catch!!!! :lmao:

Congrats Roxy :cheer2:

smileyk8 - awesome pace!

Carrie, thanks for the shout out to Jeff in his new job, he appreciates it!!
Between the hours, learning the ins and outs, more physical labor on a daily basis than before, well he's just been wiped out at night....

Congrats to everyone!!! You are all a HUGE inspiration, and really do keep me going - it doesn't seem like a lot, but baby steps, and with each step I'm feeling better..... :grouphug:

oops...... forgot to post about workout.....:rotfl:

30 minutes pilates video (new one)
15 minutes/3 miles bike

Yesterday was a complete failure workout wise. I was supposed to do 4 miles. Nope. didn't happen. What went wrong??? :confused3 It was beautiful day. I didn't have it in me. I started out walking to warm up and then started my run. I got about .4 miles done and my right shin start aching...bad! I ended up trying to walk fast and that just made the shin worse. So...instead of pushing myself. I quite. I feel so defeated. I did pump up the tires on my bike (workout in itself!) and ride for about 10 min up and down my street. I wanted to try to keep my HR up for a while longer so it wouldn't totally be a waste. Between the attempt to run and the minuscule bike ride, I got in 2.6 miles total and about 25 min of activity. Ugh. :headache:

Stacie

Stacie - SOrry about the bad run! Ice those shins! DO your darndest to relax your lower leg. I found making my foot plop on the groud helps relax those muscles. DOn't push through them though, it will only get worse. DH had them so bad befoer marathon that they crunched. I've never seen him hurt so bad. We thought he might have had a stress fracture it was so bad. Nope, just pushed too hard on shin splints. Be careful.

Well, it was a rest day, but I sorted and packaged shirt orders all night. I think that was XT. ;)

Ran 3 miles Wednesday in 37+ minutes at a 12:30 pace. I thought Harry had lost interest in his stroller (he whined the entire time a friend and I walked the day before), but now I think he wants it to just be the two of us and he wants me running. Talk about a strict coach!;) It was nice feeling like we were back in our groove since post-Goofy training has been hard (thank you Minnie marathon for giving me a new goal!)

Everyone's looking good!

Jen in GA

Roxy - I missed that you got out and ran! Woo hoo!!!
