Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Lily- we are so so proud of you. I really hope you are having a good day today hunny and you feel better without those staples.

Hi Team: Guess what? I ran yesterday! :cool1: I decided to give my hip a try so I ran for a mile on the TM (in ~9:30), and then I did another 20 min on the exercise bike.

Yay-someone's back in action! You're speedy too, that's very impressive.

Just wanted to report in that I did 40 min last night--9 miles on the Stationary bike.

Have a great day!
Stacie

Stacie, 9 miles is fantastic and a massive congratulations for signing up for 1/2. Unfortunately i can't justify another trip that early next year, also time off work would be tricky. Got excited last night as dad mentioned getting annual tickets if we were going to be back for the 1/2, but then he said ....nah!

I was back at the gym this morning. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical for 2.38 miles.
Fab effort, wow.

Ok so for me today a 3mile run outside in 32mins. Managed to hold me pace a bit and ran the whole thing again :thumbsup2

Happy nearly middle of the week team

Looking good Dave and Lily! Don't push yourselves...we want you healthy!

I had a slow and easy day today...40 minutes / 3 miles.

Did some sprint/interval training today on the beach.

It was hot, sunny, windy & humid. I have to remember to run AGAINST the wind 1st 1/2 so I can run WITH the wind 2nd.

5.2 miles total in 55:00

And right now it's raining like CRAZY outside!!

sunday 3.10 mile run with daughter in 37 minutes
Moday 1:45 minutes strenght training with trainer
Tuesday 5 mile run 50 minutes.

Hey guys!!! Yay! It's Wednesday!!!

Everyone is doing so well!!! You guys are really getting in some miles and minutes!

Dave, glad you're back in action!

Lilly, So happy to see you back!!! Take good care of yourself!

Last night I did 30 min of aquacise.

All for now! Hope everyone has a good day!
Stacie

Did my 75 min of yoga last night. Looking forward to a rest day today. :thumbsup2

Today is a rest day for me, so I am just jumping in to cheer everyone else on! :cheer2: Keep going strong and racking up those miles! :goodvibes

7.50 mile run in 1:12
1 hour with personal trainer strength training additional 15 minutes on own strength training

Today was suppposed to be a rest day for me but I had to amke up for missing yesterday. Sooooo, 3 mile Walk Away the Pounds for 45 minutes.

I'm a little discouraged because my muscles get fatigued so easily. I think it may be the medication I am on and don't know what to do about it. I'm going to keep plugging on. Those Nashville hills seem daunting about now!

Hey WARRIORS!!!

I didn't quite make my full length run last night, so I am reporting a 20 min run with 1.8 miles and 30 min of pilates!

Stacie

I have been a bad warrior! My mom broke her leg about a week ago and threw all of our schedules into chaos as we try to make sure she is well taken care of. Anyway - here is what I have done. Thursday March 21 - one hour with the trainer - 10 minutes of rowing followed by 50 minutes of legs and abs. Sunday March 24 - one hour with the trainer - 20 minutes of interval training on the treadmill (1.3 miles) and 40 minutes of arms and core strength training. I had to miss this Tuesday night because my mom had surgery but I will definitely go tonight. I have not had time to catch up on the thread but will make an effort to when I am "mom-sitting" this weekend. Take care all!

Hey Everyone: OK, let me apologize for not replying to everyone. I really hate doing that, but I don't have a lot of time. I just wanted to let everyone know that I've run the past 2 days. Still just 1 mile at a time on the TM. Yesterday I biked 10 min, ran 1 mile ~9:30 mpm, biked 20 min, and today I biked 10 min, ran 1 mile, biked 10 min, ran 1 mile. My hip felt OK, but I can still tell it's not 100%. I don't know, maybe I need a new stretch or something. OK, I have to get ready for a meeting. I'm giving a talk in Indianapolis tomorrow, and I have to get ready for it.

susan- there is no such thing as a bad warrier. You did great considering your mum's broken! Hope she's doing ok.

Dave- get u running two days on the run! Good luck for your talk.

Stacie and roxy you guys are still pluggin in the minutes and miles so thank you!

1/2marathonpixie (i've lost your name somewhere sorry :headache: ) please don't be discouraged- you're still going and that's what counts.

OK so for me today ran 5 miles 50 mins (oh that's a 10min mile pace!) and warm up/ cool down 7 mins 1/2 mile = 5.5miles 58mins
Then cycled another 5miles, this time in 14 minutes tho.
Total for today 10.5 mile 72mins.

Barb - Hang in there! You took a long time off when you were sick and that may still eb aprt of your problem. Hope things come back sooon!

Dave - Yay fro continued runs!!!!

Stacie - That still sounds liek a lot of work out time to me. Good job!

Susan - :grouphug: Not a bad warrior. A very good warrior fro taking care of your mom. Life really does get in teh way sometimes. Hope thigns get easier for you soon!

Erika - Hey, you got your steps in. Sometimes we need to slow down a bit.

Kat e- congrats on the great pace!!!

Jim - On the beach? Yeah, I'm a little jealous until I think about how hard it is to run on teh beach. Those legs must be getting ebtter!

Roxy - Just don't know how you do it. :worship:

Lily - Hope you are doing ok with things!

Heather - Hope next week is less crazy fro you and you have more work out time!

Hey Warriors!

Guess my rest day yesterday paid off as I had a PR this morning (for distance...I am still at turtle pace!). I ran 4.7 miles in 50 minutes! I also did some weight training, so a total exercise time of 1:20.

Have a great day! :goodvibes

HI guys!!!

Carrie...75 min of yoga!!! WOW! :thumbsup2

Roxy...Great job on your 7.5 miles!

Barb...Try not to be discouraged. You're doing great! Keep pushing!

Susan...So sorry to hear about your mom. I broke my leg snow skiing 7 years ago...NO FUN!!!

Dave...Glad you are running again! You are smart for breaking it up.

Kate...Great pace girl!

Jim...You had a great pace too!!!

Erika...Yay on your PR!!! Way to go!

I am so jealous of your times!!! I'm happy with a 13 minute mile! Slow and steady... I'm ok w/ that as I need to work on my endruance so I can manage the Minnie 15K. I'd one day like to be around a 10 min mile pace though.

Hope everyone is having a good day!
Stacie

Just remeber Stacie, many people woudl love to be at 13 mpm one day. All that really matter is that you are getting out and puttign your steps in. That puts you well above many!

Congrats on teh PR Erika!

Hi Warriors, how you are? (My best Cajun accent)

Has everyone had a good month? Your friendly Panda is doing better and can start contributing miles to his team now. I know that y'all have been concerned that I had to much time on my hands.

Starting next month, which is in a few days we are going to have a new thread about either adding something or subtracting something form our lifestyle plan. Everyone can post from all the teams and maybe each of us can get ideas of what we could change ourselves. It will also give us a group thread to keep up with the fact that we are all part of the same larger team.

Walking Panda:hippie:

4.30 mile run 40 minutes
5.30 miles on eliptical 1:00
Going in tommorow to see if I need surgery . I have developed a ganglion cyst on my right foot at the top by the ankle and it is starting to get irritated when I run. . Has anyone else had this happen. If so what did they do for it.
