Resort Thread Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE Resorts

If your schedule permits, I would try calling first thing in the morning, during normal business hours:
888-828-8850 (toll free in-house reservations)

Have you tried texting and asking someone at in-house reservations to assist/call you?
Thank you! I was able to get through right away to that number. She said she was in house reservations, not the main call line, but she couldn't book for me or give me a price for a regular room with an AP discount. She said that type of discount must go through the sales team. 😵 I called the sales number she gave me and that lady was so confused and said this is a simple booking and they shouldn't be telling you to call the front desk or sales. Anyway - She was lovely and connected me to the right person. For the future - Is that texting feature just for when you are on property?

I don't know if this will help, but after having had an issue trying to get through I received an e-mail telling me that my issue had been taken care of, but adding some info. I'm just going to copy and paste pertinent parts for you.
I hope it helps.
Thank you! Anything always helps. I appreciate it!

Sorry if this has been asked, but are Swan and Dolphin participating in the Marriott Thank You Healthcare Heroes discount? If so, does anyone know how to view those rates or do I just have to call? Any other specials or discounts anyone is aware of? Thank you!

A PC 😱 Are you from the ‘90s?! WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU? All of life is conducted on mobile devices now, it’s 2022! I don’t think anyone under the age of 25 even knows what to do with a screen over 10 inches wide that isn’t a TV…
If I am sitting at my desk with a 25 inch monitor and a keyboard, I use that. If I am on the go, out and about, I use my S21 Ultra.

Are you a bonvoy member? Maybe the discount codes matter? I booked for June and it only took a nights cost as a deposit. But I used the annual pass discount code.
Yes Marriott platinum. And it wants 4 nights in September 100% deposit. I’d think that was an off time?

I am. Did u book thru Marriott website or elsewhere?

@fredandkell I assume you know this but its worth checking. When booking on the top screen looking at rooms you need to select the Standard rates. The Prepay and Save is now the default selection. The Prepay does require full payment.

If you use AAA it would look like this

For those wanting to know that was for one night April 13... I won't be going LOL

Check back later on. Likely thats just 1 room thats stupid expensive. They will probably get more inventory in once people cancel.

I am going to cancel a Feb 11-19 double no view here pretty soon.

Doubt it will go down but doesn't matter that was for a way to get screen caps and was for a larger room (that's all they had available since its around Spring Break)

I have made and canceled a few trips over the last few months to capture better rates and tweak dates - and I’ve inconsistently been charged - sometimes nothing, sometimes 1 night.

Also, when I canceled one that took a deposit, I didn’t automatically get a refund - and I’m still trying to fix that situation!
I've had an automatic refund for most reservations with a deposit which I've canceled but that didn't happen for a marathon weekend reservation. I waited a couple weeks and then called the hotel. I was given an e-mail address for the accounting department (I think it was accounting@swandolphin.com but am not 100 percent sure - you'll get an auto-reply that your message was received it it's correct), sent my details (reservation number, stay dates, date of deposit, last few digits of the credit card used, cancellation date and cancellation number), and had a response the next day that a refund was being issued.
