Weve booked for October with the WDTC and the invoice says we will receive travel documents around 2 weeks before travel, but ive seen online comments saying UK travellers do not receive any paperwork before travel?

Anyone have experience with this?

Our last trip was in 2013 so things may have changed but we definitely received documents around 2 weeks before we travelled. It was a blue wallet with our documents and resort/park information etc. We're going in September so will find out in a few weeks if this is still sent out!

Last year they came 2-3 weeks before we flew; eagerly awaiting this years!!
It's the magic bands that we don't get in advance, unlike American guests.

if you live in the UK, you definitely will be sent your documents (but not magic bands)...
those who book with disney UK but live further afield (like us in the near east), don't get our documents or magic bands....

IF you've not booked flights, you don't actually need anything to check in, or receive your tickets etc

confusion comes from the fact that there are 2 sides to our bookings

the UK side. And you do receive your travel documents 2 (or up to 4 weeks) prior to departure.
The documents include vouchers, character luggage tags (if you booked a package), and a booklet full of information

the US side, which includes
- Magic Bands : we don't receive them, they'll be waiting at the hotel
- Magical Express tags : we don't receive them and need to take care of our luggage at MCO

so both accounts are correct, you do receive, and you do not receive documents. It all depends on what documents people are talking about

guests from EU receive the documents, even though Cast Members at Disney UK tell otherwise.
but it's definitely sent to the EU , not sure about near east though
