Walmart Savings Center

Where did you see this offer? I'd be interested since I have over $20 in my account, and I'm thinking of ordering our Halloween costumes through Walmart.

On the website, after I logged in, I clicked on "Set Redemption Method." It gave me two choices, an e-gift card or double my reward dollars on Blue Bird in Walmart Buck$.

I didn't know this thanks for sharing! Does anyone know how soon it will become available to use? I have $22 so far! I was thinking of saving up till December and then cashing out.

I shop at Walmart weekly, if I see an advertised price in another store flyer I will have them match the price at the register but of course I don't notice everything. I've been using the savings catcher for three or four weeks and not including this week I've gotten over $12 back. This week the app didn't seem to be working correctly, when I tried to scan the QR code it would just return to my phone's home screen but I did get an email the next day that my receipt was received. I'll be glad to take back whatever money they want to give me! :)

This is what I do. I used to bring in the ads, but then they told me not to bother. Just tell them the price and the store. I still write down good deals from the handful of ads that come to my house, but I'm up to almost $30 in the last month on top of the deals that I already got. It is great. They did tell me that soon it will be an app only service and that they will no longer price match at the register. Knock on wood every cashier I've had is great. They sometimes even give me some I didn't have written down. I once had $1.25 for strawberries and the cashier said oh, there is a store that has them for .99 cents. I'll give you that price. Mine takes about a week to scan, but they price match a boatload of stores around here.

We go to Walmart once a week to grocery shop, so I signed up just this week, it would be nice to have a few extra dollars for Black Friday/Christmas shopping(for doing absolutely nothing but scanning a receipt):thumbsup2

I now have $36 in savings. That's a Christmas present!!! I am at WalMart all the time. With 4 boys, they are always needing something :scared:

I registered for Bluebird and have a card being sent in the next week or so. Then I'll transfer the balance in rewards dollars to the card. It seems pretty straightforward. I believe they will double reward dollars through the end of February.

I tried to register for the Bluebird account and it said I couldn't because I have an American Express Serve account. I guess it was another free offer I signed up for before I kind of remember signing up for a free $25 gift card for them in the past. I'm trying to close out the other account so I can register with Bluebird, but so far I'm not having any luck online, will probably have to call.

Thanks for posting! I don't go to Walmart on a regular basis but did just go last night for some meds & school supplies. I put in my receipt and will be curious to see if anything comes up with cash back.

Up to $4.78, haven't been shopping at Walmart much..

Biggest thing I saved on: $2.50 off a package of paper towel. It was on sale at Rite Aid. Closest one to me is a 40 mile roundtrip, I will take it though!

Got my BlueBird card in the mail yesterday. I set the account up in advance and they mailed it out--received within 4 days.

Transferred my savings...It was $15 so now the BlueBird has $30 in Walmart Bucks. Woke up this morning and have another $4 in savings. Almost at my goal.

Walmart online has a cheaper price on the FisherPrice Day at Disney toy I am getting for DS3. Just need $8 more in W-Bucks and I will order to pick up in store.

I got that last week from Walmart for my 2 year old for Christmas. It's really cute! My DS is going to love it! I used $45 in Walmart gift cards from perk tv so less than $3 out of pocket.

Just got my bluebird in the mail. Time to transfer!

Got my Bluebird card in the mail, transferred $26 in savings catcher to Bluebird and received $52 in my account instantly (walmart bucks).

Went to Walmart and spent half of them!

Loving this!

:goodvibes

Me too. I'm only at $24 with the double rewards. I need to be more strategic about finding things on sale at other stores and purchasing at walmart through February : )

I spent the $30 I had saved up for a gift last weekend and had no clue about BlueBird until today. I could kick myself!

I tried to price match the other night at Walmart and the cashier told me it was all done through the savings catcher now. Unfortunately the item we bought was on sale cheaper at another store, but it didn't come back on the savings catcher. This isn't the first time I have known something was cheaper and they didn't find it cheaper. :( It is also unfortunate that I bet they will do away with price matching now. I haven't done it too much because it all depends on which cashier you get how easy it is to do. I hate that things change so much from one employee to another.

Didn't see Disney gift cards at Walmart or online, but you can get $200 southwest gift cards.

someone correct me if i'm wrong you can use Walmart cards at Sam's club right?

They have Disney gift cards at Sam's club...

The terms & conditions say that you can only use the Walmart Rewards EGift card at Walmart or Walmart.com. It specifically says you cannot use at SAMs Club. I don't know if you could use the rewards EGift card to buy a Walmart gift card, then use that at SAMs.

Thanks to OP for posting this. We don't go to Walmart that often (I hate it) but I'll take any money they want to give me. Signed up for Bluebird also.

What is bluebird? How does it work?

I guess it's a no fee prepaid account from Amex. I sighted up for it and they mailed me a card within a week. Then I activated the card and chose bluebird for redemption/linked the card on the savings catcher website. It was pretty simple.
