Not sure if there's another thread on this.

Just wondering if others have tried it out and what their thoughts are.

It's basically a website/app where you enter your receipt information (takes 30 seconds) and they see if there are lower prices at other local stores. I just got an email that they are now including produce and some general merchandise items.

I've put in three small receipts. On one they didn't find any lower prices and they found 1 ($1 cheaper) on another. Still waiting on the third receipt--it takes a few days.

All in all it sames like an easy way to save a little bit of money.

I have submitted two receipts - saved .64 on one and zip on the other. I am hoping that i can now save more. I didn't realize that not everything was eligible before. I guess every little bit helps. One weird thing about the app is I will be signed in, scan a receipt, and it will have me sign in again. So, that's a little frustrating. I keep saying I'm going to start ordering gift cards from raise.com so I can get a percentage off of groceries.

I tend to buy things at Walmart that I can only buy there (Great Value sliced mozzarella, 16 packs of ritz pb crackers, great value flour and sugar) so I'm not sure I'll save that much, but ever little bit does help.

I'm not one that's going to try to price match, though, so if Diet Pepsi is on sale at Kroger but I have to go to Walmart it's nice that in theory I'll get Kroger's sale price at Walmart without inconveniencing anyone.

Thanks for mentioning this. I already had the app but didn't realize this was a feature. I rarely shop at Walmart but had to go twice this week so I scanned both of those receipts.

I'm sure I'll never get any savings because it states "advertised price" which usually means in printed circular ads. I buy organic (Walmart doesn't have much organic produce or meat so I don't buy it there anyway) or things like Tom's of Maine toothpaste which is never advertised on sale anywhere. I did buy Almond Breeze milk there but at $2.98 it's already cheaper than everywhere else.

I could hardly stand being in Walmart! I hadn't been there for about 4 months up until this past week. I don't think I want to go back. LOL

I understand. It's a necessary evil for me although it's getting a smaller share of my grocery budget.

I do like the concept a lot.

I actually scanned a receipt on Saturday and got an email today I saved $2.47. Honestly I'm not even sure what it could have been on as I didn't buy much, I wish it would tell you. I think the concept is great, I always find myself in walmart and glad I can get the cheaper price when I grab something out of convenience.

It does tell you. If you are on the website, click on view details of the receipt with the savings and it shows you why you got money back.

ok so how do you get money back? Does it work like a coupon or something? or do they send you a check? or do they refund your method of purchase? DH was just talking about this tonight.

You cash it out as a Walmart gift card. You can wait until it accumulates or do it immediately. I saved $5.40 the first time and $3.24 last week.

Wow! That's pretty good.

I'm up to $1.98 on 3 receipts but I haven't bought much at Walmart in the last week.

Moved oj from my food lion to my Walmart list since I'll get the food lion price. One less stop this week!

Stumbled across it earlier today . I usually hv a bunch if we receipts but if course only found 1 ! Lol! Is there a site for this with tips and which store ads WW checks?

I can't find where it says. Every receipt says it checked prices at a different number of competitors. I'm in central VA and so far they've price matched Food Lion and Kroger.

I also noticed there is a place to tell them if they missed something.

How long does it typically take for them to compare prices? I entered my receipt on Tuesday and it still says comparing prices on my account.

My three have taken about 72 hours each. Seems very long. Hopefully it will get faster.
