Wall-E

We took DD8 and DD3 last weekend. We all really liked it. I admit I was dozing off at one point as was DH but we'd been up late the night before. I thought it was adorable. DD3 said really loud at one point, "Wall-E's dead". There were quite a few chuckles.

I took 5 kids and they all loved it. They were 10, 10, 8, 8, & 6. The older two my DD & her friend really got the message behind it while the other three got the environment message but not the "why are the people so fat?" as the 6 year asked in the car on the way home

My kids wanted to leave about 5 minutes in. It was the whole concept of the earth being spoilt and unhabitable I think. We made them stick it out and they now say they sort of liked it. Well my DD7 still doesn't like it.

We loved Wall-E! Definitely worth checking out, especially if it's raining and you have nothing else to do! That's why we went to see it and we ended up loving it!

Took DS and 5 other kids for his b-day (all kids - 11, 10, 10, 8, 5, 5). My DS and his 2 buddies (the 11, 10, 10) liked it well enough; one of the 5 yr olds was bored and kept trying to get up and walk around the theatre, but I've seen her do that before at other movies. There is not a lot of dialogue at all. My son had read the book, so he knew what was going on. DS likes robots and such, and was really looking forward to this movie. Overall, our group liked it. Maybe not Pixar's best, but still pretty good.

We were disappointed with the movie. My son was asking to leave about half way into it. It is not up to the usual caliber of Pixar entertainment. I thought the pre movie short was 100 times better than Wall-E. I think for kids the whole story line is a bit hard to understand. The movie makers just came up a bit short on this one I think.
