Wall art from scrapbook paper

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum...but the interior decorating/design forum seemed very small and since we're dealing with scrapbooking supplies I thought I'd post here.

I'm having ideas of using 12 X 12 pages to make some art work for my family room. Has anyone ever done this? If so, how did you do it and what were the results?

I found a website with directions to use styrofoam as a base. That sounds great!
