Walking in the Lost Continent Area always reminds of being in the middle of an Indiana Jones movie...does anyone else feel this way....???

Music plays a big part in the over all feel of the park.
From the moment you enter the parking garage, you hear dance/pop music that gets you in a good mood.
As you enter Port of Entry, it's like going into another world.
Mythos really feels like a movie because of the music they play (Mythos - The Reality of a Dreamer, Mythos - Mythos). Pick up these CDs, they're worth it.
I was recently at BGT watching an acrobat show, and two of the songs we're Mythos.

Yesssssssss!!!!!!!!! We ran out of time and didn't get to spend much time here. My husband loved this area and stated that we needed to come back again to really see it, so I made reservations to go back! Hey he didn't need to say it twice, I'd be a fool not to pounce, LOL!

Walking in the Lost Continent area always reminds me of Barry...throwing banana gooey cake at himself in Mythos...

I have to walk around EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE with these images!

The horror!!!

Actually, the Lost Continent will always hold a sentimental attachment for me, it's where I first met MIB999999 in person and where he and Barry placed me under a microscope and discussed me right in front of me ..."she's younger than I thought...isn't she?" I was a nervous wreck too!
I felt very, very short that day! :)

The theming in IOA is just amazing...it is the reason I first fell in love with the park back in soft opening in May of '99...the details are just mind- blowing to me!
Has anyone ever listened to the recording about the camel??? :)

Karen :smooth:

You should feel short with MIB and Barry together. Sorry I had to say it.

What camel recording ?? <this better not be a plug for cigarettes> LOL

The Lost Cont. makes me feel like I am in merry old England, in the robin hood era, kind of fantasy, but real. Like at anytime a magical creature could pop out of the bushes. Although, over by Posiden is earlier, Greecian era, when the Gods roamed the earth ~ :)
The music is the key, like when you are waiting to get in & the music (my opinion) is low & ominous ~ preparing you for the voyage.
Gosh, I'm gushing ~ I can't wait to get back there !!!! (can you tell?) :)
Some one mentioned a CD of all the music , is this actually available ???If so, any idea how I can get my grubby paws on it ??

There is a camel recording. If you go beside the fortune teller area, I think it is behind the ice cream stand there is a gate there. If you go next to the gate you will hear a couple of people bargening for a camel, the main person is trying to get a 7 day camel but they only have 5 days in stock. It is actually funny to stand back there and listen to it.

Yes, you can get the CDs from Barnes and Noble.
I work for the largest CD distributor in the country, B&N gets their CDs from us.

Mythos has a new CD out called Eternity. Gonna order this thru employee retail this week.

Label Description Release DT UPC
HO46572.2 MYTHOS / MYTHOS 10/20/98 72438465722
HO49087.2 MYTHOS / REALITY OF A DREAMER 04/25/00 72438490872
HO13070B.2 MYTHOS / ETERNITY 08/27/02 72438130702

Take this list to B&N or your favorite record store. If they don't have the CDs in stock, they can special order it for you.
The code in the far left column is our Alliance Sku Number which also includes the label number. HO meaning Higher Octave records, followed by the label #. The long number to the left is the UPC. Using one of these codes, they'll be able to look it up and order.

Thanks ! I will take that with me to B & N the next time I go.
Is there a soundtrack to IOA, with music from each island ?
I heard some where there was, unless I'm missing the point & Mythos CD's are the soundtracks

Seahag,

IOA Central IOA Soundtrack

I have the second one and bought it in IOA at one of the gift shops. It's a great CD!

I never noticed that Camel recording. I cant wait to check it out, thanks:)

It's just one of the many little things that makes IOA so amazing!!! The detail in the park is just awesome!!! :)

You can go, get cooled off, ride some coasters, and learn how not to bargain for a camel. :) :) :)

Why did you have to listen to it when you worked in JP???

That's it...30 day and 60 day...I didn't think 5 and 7 sounded right...but I only heard it once.
Sorry if I traumatized you by bringing up the memory!

I was thinking of something that was on the radio that morning then. I remember bringing you over to hear the camel thing. The only thing that I can think of is there is a break room back there and they can here it in there.

because the quickest way was to walk through the park, and i always passed by that area in Lost Continent when going to/from JP.

I remember shooting video of Dueling Dragons near Sinbad and employees from time to time would come out of the exit ramp. Is employee parking or the breakroom near that area?

are you referring to that little walkway between dragons and sindbad where you can see Fire? if so, that's just a entrance/pathway from the back area to the park.

thanks to everyone who posted links about the music/soundtrack of IOA, I just ordered my soundtrack CD & can't wait to get it !!!
The drive to Orlando will now be so much more fun !!!!
