Walking from the Hilton.....

We're staying at the Hilton Anaheim on Convention Way because they are pet friendly and we got a great deal from GAT. We need to walk because we'll be taking my sisters dog to the kennel daily at the park.
I say that because I've read somewhere that we can't take him on the public transportation.
Does anyone have info on this??
Which way should we go for the shortest walk?
Does anyone know the actual rules about pets and the transit buses?
Any input is appreciated

First off, you are going to LOVE the hilton! It's normally our #1 choice when staying off property. I can't answer about the pets, but when we walk we always walk along Harbour. But now looking at a map, it seems as if you could walk along Disneyland Dr, then cut through the GCH? Someone will have to clarify that...Good luck!

Our last stay was there & I will warn you, it is a long walk! Or at least it feels that way - but I also have 4 kids, lol. Walking down Harbor is your best bet. You can do Disneyland Drive, through GCH, but it's longer. The hotel is beautiful though

I have no idea on the pet policy for public transportation though - sorry!

We have also stayed there and agree it is better and faster to walk down Harbor. Have you priced the Sheraton Park...they are pet friendly and the walk seems a lot shorter.

We've stayed there years ago and I think we went out toward the back of the hotel and ended up on Katella. Does that sound familiar to anyone. It's been at least 15 years since I've stayed there.
