Walking from Super 8 on Disneyland DR

Yes, but the route has changed, here is a marked map...

Note, this route does take into consideration the new larger tram area, which is not shown in the photo. Once you get to Magic Way, there will be signs to help direct you to the security check area.

But to be honest, I would just opt to take the ART Shuttle, Route 11 (Catch it at the Bus stop at Ball Road and Disneyland Drive (South East corner).

By the way, if you want to walk the entire way, at Magic Way, make a left at the Downtown Disney Parking entrance, and follow the signs to the ESPN Zone and the new security check there.

And make sure to head east at the crosswalk at Disneyland Dr. and Ball Rd (toward the Majestic Garden Hotel). The sidewalk on the west side of Disneyland Dr. ends just south of Ball, but does continue on the east side of the street. If you don't have any mobility issues or multiple strollers, it really isn't a super far walk going to the new DtD security check by ESPN Zone. As stated, if you don't want to walk the whole way, you shouldn't have any problem finding the M&F tram from Magic Way.

Unless you're a large group, use Uber. We just did from the Motel 6. It was $5.15 per trip and worked like a charm.

Here's a 'hack':

If you don't have the Uber app, have someone who has it 'invite you'. You get a code for one free ride (up to $20.00). When you use your free ride, you get a code to send to someone for a free ride. Send it to someone in your party who DOES NOT have an Uber account. When they set it up, they get a code and you get one for referring a friend. Voila! Three free Ubers!

Where is the pickup/drop off point at DL for Uber?

Where is the pickup/drop off point at DL for Uber?

There's no designated 'Uber' area. You can be picked up/dropped off anywhere you want. I had originally thought of being dropped/picked up at the Grand, but that plan got the kibosh put on it because of the new security measures. I don't know about the other hotels or DTD parking areas.

Drop off: We were dropped off at either the 'pickup/dropoff/taxi' area just south of the main walkway in from Harbor Bl (? I'm bad with compass direction), or across Harbor by iHop depending on the driver.

Pick up: We chose the iHop rather than the pickup/drop off area because it's darkish with lots of cars coming and going and we felt it would be harder to locate our Uber.
