I need a room (not going to Universal) but going instead to City Walk, Blue Man Group, and Sea World.

I like the look of Royal Pacific....but from the map it looks like there is no easy way to walk to City Walk? Is Hard Rock better for walking at night?

I've never been to either.....Not sure if I"m a big fan of Hard Rock theme (loud music, party, driniking,)? Royal Pacific looks very realaxing...but beyond the theming, I'm looking to do a lot of walking around, shopping, and would like to be able to walk to-and-from my room.

Thanks

There are direct paths to City Walk from all 3 onsite hotels...from Hard Rock maybe 5 minutes, if that...from Royal Pacific, 7 minutes, if that.... The reason it doesn't look easy on the map, is because you pass under a bridge on the way. The idea is to walk from your hotel to the parks...going thru City Walk ;) They are all very easy walks!

Thanks for the help. :thumbsup2

I"m parked-out :scared: from my last Disney trip. But looking forward to doing a little scouting for future trips. And seeing the Universal resorts and City Walk.

Each resort also has a boat to transfer guests to and from Citywalk if they prefer not to walk.

Got back last week from the Hard Rock and we chose to walk everywhere we went. Big Mistake!!! By Sunday(our last day there) our feet were killing us and we had to spend the whole day walking around IOA on top of that. If your gonna be doing the theme parks then try to save your feet as much as you can.

Only problem with that is by the time you wait for the boat to get back to the Hard Rock, you could have walked it and been there before the boat!

i'd say it's a 10 - 15 minute walk from the RP to city Walk. And it's a nice walk, all tropical flowers and plants. There is a boat, but sometimes, as someone said, the wait for the boat is longer than the walk would have been.

From Tower One at the Royal Pacific, it took me eight minutes to get to Margaritaville in City Walk and I'm NO youngster!!

Yep....7-8 minutes is more accurate... 5 from HRH and 9-12 from PBH ;)
