Hey all! I'm trying to catch up on all that I've been missing.
Panda Dave and Erica - Congratulations!!!! May you have many more years of happiness together.
Jeanne - Sorry about your stonker for the 18-miler. I'm wondering if a little salt packet might help you. John Bingham was a guest speaker at last year's WDW expo and he suggested taking a salt packet (like you find at McDonalds) at the beginning of the race and then at the half way mark for those doing the full. Of course, he suggested this due to the expected heat but maybe one would help.
What do you experts out there think about this?
I didn't get to do mine last week due to back pain. I did manage 10 miles by hanging on a treadmill and I did 8 today. Other than that, my longest was 16 in mid-November. I'm getting a wee bit nervous. I'm supposed to do 20 this next weekend. Hopefully, I can do it.
Denise - I know the snow puts a damper on your training but that pic with the snow is so beautiful. Oh, and I LOVE that Munster's pic.

Thanks for sharing.
Kim - Stay safe! We rarely get snow in these neck of the woods. Mainly, ice if anything.
Robert - sending more

for your shins. Are they getting any better by chance?
Heather - sending

your way as well. I agree with the others - rest up for now. No need hurting it more.
Connie - sending

for your DH's back. I've missed the posts - is it his upper or lower back? Hopefully, the PT will help him.
As for me, I did 8 miles on the TM today. I did it without having to hang on to the sides like I had to last weekend. That means my back is much better. Yay! However, it is a little sore tonight but nothing I can't handle. Up next, 20 miles next weekend. The plan is to go to Dallas and do this with my training buddy, Cindy. She hurt her knee about a month ago so she might not be up to it.

We'll see.
Hope everyone has a safe and injury-free week.
