Walk to Anaheim Garden Walk?

Since the google map isn't totally up to date - I was wondering, where exactly do you enter the Garden Walk? From Katella? Disney Way?

We might be staying at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel which I believe is right behind (in front?) of the Garden Walk.

You can enter from both or either. We entered from Disney Way and left from Katella.

I agree that the Anaheim Gardenwalk is easily walkable from Disneyland. However, if you want to shave a little bit off that distance, you can hop on one of the parking shuttles to the Pumbaa Lot. That will drop you off in Pumbaa, and there's a handy stop light to the entrance of the Gardenwalk right across the street.

Better yet, if they're using the Gardenwalk parking garage as overflow parking, then the Pumbaa shuttle will take you there as its 2nd stop. I just haven't seen them use the Gardenwalk garage for Disneyland guest parking ever since they opened the Toy Story Parking Lot. But the shuttle to the Pumbaa Lot is free and the drivers don't care if you've parked there or not. :goodvibes

Yes, it's kind of fun to type in your own home address and see if they've been down your street. They've been down my out-of-the-way street, and my brother's cul-de-sac 20 miles from here. But we digress... ;)

:) Reminds me...a friend of mine was totally caught by a google photography car, smoking a cigarette in her driveway, while taking her daughter out of her vehicle. You can see her clear as day. And I say "caught" because she was supposed to have quit smoking long before...d'oh!

What's great about her is that she immediately sent the link to everyone, because the sheer amazement that they had come by right then beat out the embarrassment of having been photographed doing something she wasn't supposed to be doing. :rotfl:

That's a handy piece of advice! So is Pumbaa lot situated on Katella just can't seem to get my bearings with this one. Thanks

I'm surprised because I've seen pics of people that have been blurred out. They haven't been by our house, but I use this feature all the time. It really helps to know how a driveway or intersection looks so it is familar when you go. I used to look at freeway exits on the way to DLR and also to get driving plans from the hotel to DLR.

On our day off from the parks last year we walked from the Embassy Suites South to Garden Walk to DTD then back to Garden Walk and then to the hotel. It is very walkable, but we wouldn't have done all that after walking in the parks all day. And the only reason I'd go to GW is to eat. The rest of the stores are very uninteresting.

They blur out faces and liscense plate numbers.

If we stay at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel, it's right by the Garden Walk. That won't make our hotel noisy, will it?!

The Pumbaa Lot is just north of the Gardenwalk, situated on Disney Way. There *is* a big parking lot across the Gardenwalk on Katella, but that is the Katella Cast Member Lot, or K-Lot for short. There are CM Shuttles to the K-Lot, but for CMs only. :)
