How long does it take to walk from VGF to Gasperillas?

Also, does anyone find that the walk from VGF to Captain Cook's at the Poly is no further than to Gasparillas? And when I stayed at the VGF a few weeks ago, I found the menu at Captain Cook's to be MUCH better. Also, Gasparillas failed to include 2 of the 3 things I ordered, and so I had to return. Also, even though I'd requested chips as a side on one trip, they gave me french fries. I checked my receipt to see if perhaps the order had been put in wrong. Although I returned to CC for the food choices, they never screwed up either.

It's probably pretty close to the same distance, I wish they would but in a sidewalk from the front of VGF to the walking path to POLY instead of forcing everyone to walk on the lawn or over to the Wedding Chapel.

I know it’s longer but we just walk behind the building to avoid it…but, I agree…it would be nice!

We got "to go" at Gasparilla's a few weeks ago, and I asked to substitute chips for soup as a side with my grilled cheese (I've done this several times before; Hubby has food allergies so we order inside). The cashier couldn't figure out how to do this and said she'd hand write the change on the order slip. Guess what - I got soup. (It was actually pretty good.) But next time I'll check the items before we go outside.
