Walk time from Loop 300 to Meadow Depot

We are booked for next summer in Loop 300 (pet friendly). We liked the idea of being close to the boat launch for MK. But, how far is the walk to Meadow Depot (the pool essentially). We will be there 16 nights and its the summer so we may spend more down/pool time than in the past when we go park crazy. Thanks.

You may not drive a car to the pool area but you may drive a golf cart. There is a small parking area near entrance of the pool for carts. The walk is really not bad at all but if you feel it is too much you could always wait for the bus at the 300 loop entrance and then just ride it down to the pool drop-off. Not more than a 1-2 minute ride on the bus! We have been on the 300 loop 3 times and enjoy it very much. Have a great time!

I thought I read that disney no longer allows 3rd party golf cart rentals. Is that true? We have at least 3 families going together so could consider going in on one together.

No, not completely true.

Disney no longer allows DELIVERIES of 3rd party golf carts. But you can go off-site to pick up your cart and bring it into the Fort. Reverse the process to return it. You save about a third off the Disney rate by doing this.

The distance is correct from the middle of the 300 loop. It's a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace or location in the loop. You can walk through the 1400 loop and past the campfire area and Bike Barn to get there or go up the main road and walk in on the access road by the tennis courts.

Given the amount of walking involved in a Disney vacation, 10 minutes to the pool is not bad at all.

Thanks. 10 min isn't bad. I would never rent a cart solo but figured if we could split the cost it might be fun.
