Walk-ing Back to Disney! COMPLETED 10/16! A Fall 2014 PTR!

Oh my goodness, Olivia is adorable!! And how cute is that lone little guy?? I'm so glad she's having fun with dance. Our little Charlotte is going to take dance soon. We're a little worried that she won't want to do what is instructed, she definitely has her own way of dancing! lol

Dan just told me the same thing about the countdown. So, I just look at my calendar on the wall where I have the days numbered. At least I know at a glance the accurate days left. That is very important you know! I'm glad your Dalmatian Day went well, even if it was a day early!

Six paydays does sound really close!! I just realized ours is only 5 pays away! But I haven't been counting down nearly as long as you have. You really got some beautiful bows. My granddaughter Charlotte was looking with me and just oohed and aahed over them. Now, stop buying stuff so you can save more Disney $$!!!!!

Very cute bows. Makes me realize that I haven't really put any thought into that sort of thing, as Izzy's hair isn't quite long enough to do that with (and she always hated things on her head anyway). It'll be a whole new world soon.

My hubby bought me a hat for Disney I can roll up and stick in my bag while on rides.....it white canvas material....I am thinking it needs disneyfied......

so guess I will have to paint some Disney stuff on it.....

going tomorrow, my birthday, to get a second pair of go walks for Disney
I want black tie up ones this time. Mine are beige slip on shoes.
5 paydays to Disney for us.......woooooooooooot getting closer trying to figure out what fps to do, sugestions are welcome..

Yea for the DDD! Mine started today

I love those small bows you found!!! Makes me wish my girls would leave them in their hair - bows last 3.2 seconds around here... One of them at least will leave a pony tail in, the other pulls those out right away as well. of course, it's probably best that I don't have another craft to obsessively buy, or figure out how to make!

Haha, I actually just cut my hair, I am hoping since it is shorter I can wear my hair down a few times at Disney, I hated my hair in ALL the photos last time, its soooo humid. I need to figure a plan to keep it looking normal this time!

And I actually have that same dance photo with the little boy covering his face with his hands, totally having a "why me!? Why am I surrounded by all these girls" moment, lol..

I am getting so exited Lori!! I know we haven't talked much, we must both be busy, but I swear, I am literally DREAMING of Disney now! I keep imagining our first day and getting there and meeting up with you!! In my head, its all so perfect, lol..

The flight I am stalking gets into Orlando at 11:55am, I am thinking we could make it to the park by maybe 3pm, maybe sooner, who knows, but realistically by 3, I was gonna maybe book FP for TSMM around 3, and then maybe Star Tours for 3:30-4ish, my plan after that is to try to hit the Character-Palooza back on the streets of America at 4:30, are you interested in that? Then, of course, Dinner 5:20 or whatever it was then we will do Fantasmic. Are you planning anything after dinner/before Fantasmic? I was thinking maybe ToT, would you wanna ride with me? I dunno, just thinking... FP+ day is soon approaching...

Ok, so I am planning the character Palooza FOR SURE then! That'd be great, we could meet up do that, and if we have some minutes to kill before dinner still maybe the kids could just run off some steam so theyll be nice and calm-ish at dinner!

Ok, so RnRc was just ok to me, I love the take off but after that the ride was just ho-hum, too dark, they need more fun things to look at... so I say we def try for ToT, do you think you will have a FP to spare? If we could FP it thatd be great! And then if we have time and the line is short lets just pop over and do RnRc too! rotfl:

But whatever works for you, I dont want you to have to FP it if you need those in the day, you may be able to get one after you use your initial 3? Olivia says she wants to try ToT this time, so if shes down I may let her try it with us? We'll see... either way this is shaping up to be a really fun day!! I still can't believe it worked out so well!! We will actually get to do quite a few things together! I love it!!

Hey my friends! I have had an, ummmm, interesting, couple of days. The hubs came home injured from work on Sunday night (well Monday morning technically) and that's always a fright considering his line of work. But turns out he just got his hand smashed in a very heavy 600lb door at the jail when he was dropping off an arrest he had. It was pretty gross though, he is basically now missing the whole pad of his right ring finger. I have been having to change his dressings daily, and it's pretty gross... apparently another officer returned to the scene after Chris went to the ER and found the missing chunk, but it was too late. His fingerprint shall never be the same... Also it was his "gun" hand, so he's off work for a week and then on light duty.

We also had a sick kiddo yesterday. Olivia woke up throwing up, but luckily it only lasted the morning and then she was just over it. Maybe something she ate? Whatever... I am just glad it passed so quickly!!

The main reason was I have signed up to be a mentor through a local agency in town and I had my very first "date" with my mentee the same day Chris was injured and Olivia got sick! Luckily it all worked out and I was able to go, we ended up at a sushi place, as my mentee loves sushi, me, not so much... I barely got a taste of what she ordered and couldn't stomach it, then the nice manager insisted I try something "less fishy" and sent out a complimentary Vegas roll... yeah, no, still don't like sushi. But nice try Mr. Nice Manager!

It was still fun, and I got to start to introduce her to my love of Disney, I brought along our photo book from our last trip and we talked about my obsession for a few minutes.

In other news, I have been painting....

I am not finished yet, but here is a sneak peek of the shoes for D~, as you probably already know she has a thing for a certain Duck, and it gets weirder, she also seems to have a teeny fetish with his "angry eyes" and his cute tushy! So I present to you, a bit of her shoes.....

In other Disney-related fun, I got some majorly fun mail yesterday!!!!!!

My Jim Shore Patriotic Mickey statue that I got for free with my Disney Movie Reward points!!! EEeeEEeeEEeeEE!! I'm in love! He's so cute and so much bigger than I thought! There's a matching Donald statue on the DMR site that I REALLY hope to get also, I am still a few hundred point shy of being able to order him. If any of you do not do the points thing and have your points codes (those annoying papers in all the Disney movies you buy) I would be forever grateful if you'd share them!! Cool things on the DMR site are known to come and go quickly...

Oh and notice the shelves behind Mickey with the Anna dress hanging off it??!!? Yeah, all my stuff has overflowed The Box, and I now have The Box and The Shelves... lol...

I also got PINS!!! Yay! I ordered a lot of 25 and I seriously want to keep half of them! I love them so much! I didn't take a photo of the lot, but I did snap one of one of my fave pins that came... lets see who knows where this dude is from and what makes him special, major cool points to whoever does!

And finally, Olivia has requested that I share this with you all, I wanted to do a random act of kindness for my kids a couple of days ago, so I dug up Liv's BBB makeup kit and gave the girls makeovers with it and the polish from her Pirate League kit! We even had face jewels left, which are hard to see in the pic.

Anyway, hope you are all doing fantastic! Where's everyone at in their countdowns? I am at 95 days!

Yikes... Your DH's injury does not sound fun... I do not do well with injuries - which is exactly why I didn't finish my nursing degree... BLECH! Glad he is OK though, and hopefully it isn't too painful for him and he is back to work and feeling better in no time.

I can do very little bits of sushi... Like the girls and I will split 1. LOL Glad you were able to share your Disney obsession - I love it when people sit and listen to me talk about it.

And the girls - yah - they are so freaking adorable it's not even funny. I love their little BBB experience at home - and so cute. I remember when my girls were that age - oh the FUN we had. And the little piggy tails - melt my heart.
