Those Doctor who shoes are wonderful!!!! Great Job!!!
Hey all- sorry I haven't replied to anyone, I've been reading along but haven't had the energy to reply. I am SICK!! Ughhhh...
Like so sick that I don't ever remember being this sick.started Saturday and that was probably the worst night of my life! There was a period of hours where I literally could not move! My body was soooooooo sore and achey. My legs throbbed all night long and I couldn't sleep at all, I ended up even getting sick to my stomach that night and had bouts of fever related symptoms where I was freezing the burning up. All this while the hubby had to work, so I also had the kiddos. Luckily he was able to stop by the house to put them to bed!
Sunday was a little better, no more achey body. Just a very sore throat and head congestion. Still felt pretty awful.
Today I still have the sore throat. Hurts so bad to swallow and my head is congested still, and now I think I'm getting a runny nose. On top of all that I feel like my face is maybe swollen! It seemed very red and puffy, like maybe I'm retaining water?! Who knows..
Anyway, PRAYERS would be much appreciated! All you moms know how hard it is to be sick and run your home and family. My kids have basically ran wild the last two days and my house is a train wreck! The hubs is off today and tomorrow though so I will at least have help!
Thanks in advance for the prayers and well wishes! Hopefully I will be back to update soon!
Oh, so sorry the birthday didn't go exactly as planned, but the pictures are great and that cake was adorable!! I'm glad she perked up eventually. No nap usually spells disaster for most 2 year olds, that's for sure! She looked so cute, though, and I'm sure, as you say, it will be a good story to tell later. Funny about the clothes love. So not typical for a two year old!
Thanks for the info on the socks. I was telling Dan about them last night and he said get as many as you think you'll need. I told him that my shoes may not fit with them and he said to go to our running store and get new shoes once the socks arrive. He's always wanting my feet to feel better. Honestly, he has the flattest feet on the planet and has zero problems with them. I'm glad for him, but it is so unusual. But I'm so blessed that hetotally gets how hard bad feet are to live with. I'm sure your hubby feels the same way.
Those latest shoes are amazing! I know your client had to love them to pieces!! You have really found a wonderful niche that is both in demand as well as fun for you to do. That's a great combination.
Can't wait to see the pics of Maddie's new outfits!
Awwwww, sorry you had moody two year old instead of happy two year old, (wait, is there such a thing ) Evalyn seemed to spend her entire 18mo-4yr in a mood!!!!!The party looked like fun for the others though.
That's funny about the clothes. My kids immediately throw all clothes in a pile in search of toys!
I am gonna have to look into those socks. My paycheck on Thursday will be about $1000 bigger than normal due to all that extra work, so I am buying shoes and possibly socks.......(fun, I know!) I think I will also get the girls their anna and elsa dresses. I got myself a t-shirt at hot topic and one of the ladies that I work with is gonna make me a skirt. I might steal Lori's idea and make greg an olaf shirt.............
I have decided that since I have so many projects left to do, I am recruiting my kids. We will have a Disney movie night every other week until we leave (nothing fancy) mainly just an excuse to make them help me get crafts donePlus, I think that will give me a reason to make them watch some of the movies that they never choose for themselves......
Awww... sorry she wasn't super happy for her birthday. At least she perked up for the clothes.I love that! So cute.
How in the world did they get so many tickets? That is awesome.
And THOSE SHOES! I love them. I can just imagine, as a Doctor Who fan, what the reaction of the recipient was. They are awesome.
The Doctor Who shoes are perfect. Great job. My youngest was never interested in toys for gifts. She would go nuts over shoes. She is 10 and still would prefer shoes.
You get loads of points for doing a Chuck E. Cheese party. At ours you can pay the difference for the prizes. So if there was a 4000 ticket prize and you only had 3000 tickets...they would charge you $10 bucks. Only a penny per ticket. I used to spend 30 bucks for tokens. I could have just put that toward the prize. Oh wait, then the kiddos wouldn't get to play the games.
Hope you have a good weekend.
Those Doctor who shoes are wonderful!!!! Great Job!!!
Wow! Those Dr. Who shoes are spectacular!!
Fabulous job!
Kids! Not as easy to bribe into a good time at that age. But atleast everyone else had a wonderful time and that she came around. You win some, you lose some and get to try again next year. As long as she is good at Disney![]()

I love her little pigtails, though! Cute!![]()
Sorry was out of town for a couple days......aaaaaaah 2 year olds so much fun.....Not! I wanted to drown Raina when she was that age....
Sorry she was in such a mood for her party, sometimes I think we over think these parties ,more for the moms than the kids.....lol or grandmoms!!!
Those Dr Who shoes are so cute, wonder how to do that on a guys shoe .......wait maybe a T shirt. Frank is a big time Dr fan. Ok now I have to
go check his magic band colors........I think he needs a Dr Who magic band!
Now see what you started!!!!
Update: I changed his AoA band to blue so I can do Dr who....lol
Take some vitamin C and hold your head over a steaming bowl of water to clear your sinuses......blesses be with you!!
Eesh! Sounds terrible! I hope you are over the worst of it and get better soon!![]()
Yuck! No fun feeling sick while needing to watch the littles! Sounds like a snuggle down Movie Marathon time to me. FYI Jake and the neverland pirates is on netflix instant streaming. There are also a few disney movies as well.
Sending well wishes your way and hoping your bug stays away from the rest of the family.
Oh No! I am so sorry your not feeling well...
Hopefully soon you will be back on your feet. PRAYERS!
Sounds like you got the Chucky Cheese cooties! I'm so sorry to hear about your illness! Yes, we've all been there done that, so hope it helps that so many of us know exactly what you're going through and can commiserate with you. Glad hubby was home to help out for a couple of days.
I agree we've missed your bubbly excitement on here and hope you're back to normal soon. Prayers to you!![]()
