Has anyone tried these videos? What do you think? I need to get into shape as I am way out of shape :rotfl: I do not want anything too intense and from what I have seen, this video looks pretty good.

If you do not use this video, which one do you use? Do you like it?

Thanks for all the help,
Louise

I just borrowed one from the library. I've done it once. Not too hard. I tried it after watching a group of teachers at one of the schools I used to sub at do it. The one teacher combined it with a weight loss plan and lost ALOT of weight. She looks super now!! (This took place over a couple years)
Like I said I've only used it once so far but I am trying to work out a schedule to use it more.

As a certified Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor, the best piece of advice I can give you is...Get up and move, not matter the mode. Start with any exercise that you can do and add a sensible diet plan. Seeing a nutritionist isn't a bad idea.

However, the one thing that most people need to instill in themselves, especially as they start exercising, is "you need to take yourself out of your comfort zone to create change".

Best of luck :thumbsup2

I really enjoy these videos I have many of the different ones. They aren't to intense but you can make them that way. If you use netflix you can get one to try before you purchase.

A friend of mine used to use these videos. Unfortunately, she didn't see much change. She got a bit frustrated and decided to stop using them in the end.

I have a couple. I got them when chemo weakened me so badly I could barely get out of bed. They aren't too hard but they did challenge me a bit at first. No fancy footwork, no jumping around, no size 0 cheerleaders encouraging you to feel the burn. I really like them. Anyone can do them and it's an excellent place to start. Well worth your money if you buy them.

I just did some research after reading this thread and I think i'm going to order it for my mom. She loses a lot of weight in the summer by walking everywhere but it's way too cold for that now. Maybe I'll borrow it before bathing suit season
