Right wrong or indifferent I take a lot of meds (as my true Karen of a boss used to say...and her name really was Karen...that's for you @Micca Since you love me 😄)...

Walgreens never has half my meds. My refills got called in and either partially filled or delayed. Is this just Walgreens or everbody....

My prescriptions (synthroid, singulair, Norvasc) are all mail order 3 months supply through CVS/Caremark. Never had a problem with supply. Mine are pretty common, generic except for the Synthroid. Are yours less common drugs?

No, basic and boring. I've been using Walgreens since I met my annual catastrophic cap. My mail order military has been fine.

Just seems Iike a national chain could do better. My sis really needed her prednisone and they couldn't full it (dif state).

I've never used Walgreen's. Where I live there are 5 CVS locations within walking distance.

We don’t have Walgreens here. Never had an issue getting any of my prescriptions at my pharmacy.

I have had that issue BUT it was the medication not the drugstore since I had the issue at several stores for three years - I did experience this issue of not having medications at CVS several years ago and switched to Walgreens - upon occasion Walgreens has an issue but not too often lately - but if you need your medicine one time is one time too many !!

We have had all of our prescriptions filled by our Costco pharmacy for the past 25 years. We are both in our 80's now.
We have never had a problem and they have our entire medication histories at hand. Plus it is cheaper and the staff is wonderful.

I do mostly mail order, so I have no idea if they are ever out of stock because it takes about a week to get anything. I get Eliquis at a local pharmacy, Rite Aide, since I can get it with a coupon for $30 for a three month supply instead of $800 my mail in pharmacy charges. They don't take coupons. It was out of stock, as were my diabetes test strips, but anything they order they get the next day.

Same, they won't even answer the phone so being the wisea@@ I am I will hop into my car on hold and make the request at the window pointing out I am also on hold. I'm not mad about it but like, seriously, why not hire someone at min wage to just do phones? It's not like anything medicine related is struggling to make ends meet. NOTHING the Dr calls in gets prepared or ordered unless I drive down and request in person at the window or on the phones.

I am not permitted to use CVS anymore, not really sure why or who is able to use them, or why - it is peculiar.

My mail order is Optum, don't even get me started on that halfassery (I just invented a word), I think they sample the merchandise - just sayin'.

I use Giant Pharmacy and they used to have an issue where they would get my prescription wrong half the time but they've since improved on that. CVS, at least where I live, is a mess. I go there to get vaccinations and it's unorganized chaos in terms of how those pharmacies are run.

Thankfully they always answer and are super nice. My sister's in NC doesn't answer at all

Every time I walk into a Walgreens, it looks like they missed a few deliveries.

I travel a lot, if I need something on the road, I try to find a CVS or Walmart.... Oddly enough, Walmart has been pretty good with meds and shots.

My sister is a pharmacist at Walgreens and she said that they have gone to a central fill station for a lot of the less common and/or brand name drugs where a generic is available, so it typically takes 24/48 hours to get it FedEx to the store. If it comes in a sealed plastic bag instead of the paper one that means it was filled at the central hub. They are keeping less narcotics in stock too because they were having an issue with being robbed. I take Syntroid which is the brand name for my thyroid and I always have to wait for it now as they don’t stock in in the store pharmacy.

I wondered about the plastic bag!

Check into getting it from AbbVie through Eagle Pharmacy. I'm paying $25/month without using insurance. My insurance was charging over $125 for three months.
I take it, too, but don't have to take name brand.
