I saw this on our local news this morning.

At a Bentonville Arkansas area WAL*MART, a woman was attempting to pay for her purchases with a check. Unfortunately for her, the check belonged to the cashier, and was reported stolen (the checkbook, that is) the week before.

That would never happen at Target :teeth:

That's even funnier than when I worked at Target and a woman attempted to pay with 'checks' that were printed on regular ol' white computer paper. She swore up and down the bank gave them to her that way. :rotfl2:

Ok, it does beg the question... Why would she (cashier) leave her purse in a locked car? Don't they have breakrooms and lockers?

I dunno. Seems like they were both stupid to me. But, what are the odds of that happening!

So it is stupid to leave items in a locked car? Oh well I guess I am stupid then. I leave my purse either under the seat or in the trunk all of the time if I am going somewhere that I don't want to carry it around.
As for break rooms, that is one on the places I've found that items are stolen from the most. It takes nothing but a cheap pair of bolt cutters to cut the lock off of a locker.
