Wake Up Call....

Is Mickey back or is it still Stitch.........I hope Mickey is back....did not like Stitches wake up call..........you can't beat being woken up my the mouse!!

It's still the Mickey/Stitch combo.......you hear part of a song from an attraction, like Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Pirates, etc. then you hear Stitch, and then Mickey comes on and apologizes for Stitch. Something like, "Sorry folks! Things have been a little crazy lately...."

I miss Mickey myself. Although I'm usually half-asleep when I answer the phone, so I don't take too much notice!

When we were there we never got anything on our wakeup call! Just dead air! Why is that?

I find that if I say "Hello" loudly a few times, it kicks in. I think it's sound activated.
I'm another one who hates Stitch and would love to see Mickey back. I even wrote a letter of complaint to Disney about it. I said that a wake-up call where someone yells, "No sleeping!" isn't nearly as magical as when Mickey called me his Pal, and told me there were "Big Doins' goin' on", that his greeting made me want to get "up and at 'em". For some reason, WDW didn't even respond to my complaint. Gee, do you think they thought I was kind of crazy?

Weird, not me. After I pick it up, it begins. I already know the call is a wake up call, so I have no reason to talk into the phone... hehe

I never say a word when I pick up the phone and I have never gotten dead air. It does some times take a few seconds for the recording to kick in.

You mean I can stop waking my neighbors up at 7:00 in the morning yelling at the phone? Actually, not only my neighbors but I really appreciate knowing that I don't have to say anything. I guess it was just that it took a few seconds, and meanwhile I was saying "Hello" like that made a difference.

Ok, I know I'm in the minority, but I just love the Stitch calls! It takes an act of God to get me up anyway but I'd practically be bouncing out of bed to answer the phone! My sister, on the other hand, couldn't stand it either. She listened once and said, "nice" very non-excited and rolled back over...but that was OK...left more Stitch for me!

The ultimate for me would be Donald yelling at me too (hmm, starting to see a pattern here?), but it would be nice if you could schedule a particular character, maybe given a choice between five or so.

Oh, and umaangel00, you can schedule a wake up call from a Disney resort by using your phone...there is a button you push to schedule them, just punch in the time and you're done! Ours always worked, but all the yelling coming from WCC definitely could have worked as a wake up call too! LOL!

Altough not a massive fan of Stich this will be my first time onsite so I dont care if the maid is on the other end of the phone I am just giddy for my wake up call!

I didnt know you can do wakeup calls for free. I happen to love stitch so if its still stitch in dec, thats ok haha
