I love coming here for the best advice.......from the DVC experts.
Here's my question, with background first. I called today for a DVC studio anywhere at WDW for November 4-7 since we booked a great airfare over the weekend. I had no idea the resorts would be so full the first of November. MS said it's New Jersey Teacher's Week and that's why.
What I ended up with was a one bedroom for the 4th, waitlisted for the 5th and 6th, and a studio for the 7th at SSR. The two rooms I booked on the 4th and 7th were the ONLY rooms at WDW to be booked on points at all except for a two-bedroom on the first night at OKW!
Can anyone think of anything I can do to increase my chances of getting my waitlist? I was offered the option to reserve on cash for the missing nights, but declined. Is there any advantage to calling daily, or will the computer be sure to catch a room if one is available.
I would love any advice........as I don't really want to sleep off-site and I want to do ME and Dining. Thank you.....
