Waitlisted at BC for one night of stay, what are chances?

We have a complicated trip coming up - we are staying 3 nts Art Of Animation bc we wanted to try out the new resort and our son is really excited about the Nemo suites, then wanted BCV - but since closing on our resale took longer than expected it was only available part of trip - so here is what we have currently:
Nights 1,2,3 - Art of Animation
Night 4 - Nowhere - waitlisted at BCV
Nights 5,6, 7- BCV
Nights 8, 9, 10 - Saratoga Springs

This is in September - and I am new to DVC, so Im just wondering how often does the waitlist come through? If we cant get it we can add one more night at Art of Animation, but have to pay for that resort rather than use points so Im really hoping BCV will open up.
Is it likely or is it wishful thinking? Thanks!

I would definitely book night 4 at Art of Animation now. It would make me feel better knowing I had somewhere to stay. Then, relax and try not to think about the waitlist too much and hopefully you'll end up pleasantly surprised! Good luck!

I got my wait list for 1 night at BCV! I came through within about 2 weeks. I would book the 4th night at AoA just in case though.

Pixie dust that your wait list will come through for you. I think your chances are pretty good but agree with PP to book AoA to be certain you have a place to lay your head - just in case.
