Waitlist magic, 10 days out

I waitlisted Monday for a inn room or studio at Vero since we are traveling north to St. Augustine for Memorial Day weekend. I wanted to break up the trip with DS, 2, since 5 hours straight is a long time.

There was no availability (i was pretty much counting on that answer) but I went ahead and waitlisted anyway. MS was not optimistic, to say the least. But today, they called and I had my room!

I'm thrilled, because I was looking around at hotel rooms, and anything decent is at least $100, plus all the taxes. I'm so spoiled by the DVC points system...it just doesn't feel like real money to me.
