Waitlist came through for HH

I am soooo excited. I was on the waitlist for HH. I went on the waitlist in December for June 18,19, and 20. I do not know when it came through.

I am writing this because it DID NOT SHOW UP ON DVC.COM!!

I went on the website this morning, and it did not show that the points for the stay had gone through. I then called member services. the CM confirmed my reservation. I expained it was not showing up on DVC.com. She then made a cash reservation for me for the 20th so I would not have to use my points for a weekend stay. When I got off the phone I checked DVC.com again, and the points showed they were deducted from my HH membership.

I thought that was a bit odd.

How did you find out it came through? Were you just calling to check or did you get the confirmation in the mail? We are on a waitlist for December 30 so that is why I was wondering. This is the first time I have heard that it did not show up on the website.

I called the MS, and I inquired! Otherwise I would not have known. I was fearful somthing had gone wrong. That is what happened to me last year when I was put on the waitlist for BCV. I never heard anything back from MS, and when I inquired they told me I was not on the waitlist!!!!

So glad that you got your waitlist! What type of villa were you waiting for?

I put in for a studio. I think at the time they had a 2 bedroom available.

Thanks. I will call in a few weeks to check our status just to make sure. When I made the last couple days of our reservation I confirmed with each CM that I was still on the waitlist. So glad you got your waitlist.

I've read how the waitlist is "supposed" to work and have yet to have it work that way and we've used it 3 times in the past 8 months. Each time, I called MS for something else to find that our waitlist had come through and was being held for us if we wanted them to go ahead and make the switch. Not once did we receive a call or have it automatically changed over. No one could tell me why it hadn't been done. The waitlist procedure is strange to me at best. I ended up calling every couple of weeks finally to see if we'd had it come through and would find it had. It didn't show on dvc.com and the CMs always told me they'd go in and confirm the ressie if I wanted them to actually book it. Sheesh....no I'm on a waitlist because I want the room, but don't want you to book the ressie?!? Yes, it's sarcasm, but that's why I went on the waitlist to begin with!!!
