Waiting till Sun. Aug 24 to hear about Free Dining Bounceback??

...while at the AKL. It helps take the sting out of being home now :(

Anyway, we booked 6 nights, 6 day park hoppers, 2 adults, 2 children (+free dining of course) at the Beach Club (std view) for $3362.

I read that each adult in your party can book a bounceback. This works out well for us, but we actually really need three rooms next year. So when DH and I are there, we'll book two.

So, can someone double confirm this for me - so both DH and I can book a bounceback! Does this mean we could each book a room for four people? This sounds really promising! What are the implications when you go? ie. going with another family?

Would someone provide some more insight on this?

Thanks!

I booked this offer from my room at POFQ yesterday.

ASMu, 8/28-31 3 people, 1 day base ticket, no insurance: $984.37
CM specifically reminded me that I would be responsible for the tips.
I have not yet received a confirmation e-mail as of yet.

Am I correct in seeing that this is 3 nights at a value resort costing $328 per night? I'm not understanding something I think.

Do you have to pay the $200 deposit for each room that you book, if it's just your immediate family?

If you are booking two rooms for your immediate family meaning you, spouse and minor children then you only have to pay one $200.00 deposit and you will have one reservation number for the two connecting rooms. We always have to have two rooms and I have always just paid one $200.00 deposit.

I think it depends on the CM. We've been required to put a $200 deposit for each room and others have only asked for one $200 deposit.

We were required to put down two room deposits for our family of 5 in two rooms - it was just DH, me, and three kidlettes.

I'm really surprised by all of the people that have posted that they had to pay two deposits on two connecting rooms with only 2 adults and the rest minor children. We always get two connecting rooms and I have never paid two deposits.

O.K. this is a Hypothetical...

what if you booked two value rooms and said you had a couple of extra kids for extra dining credits would this flly???

Just a thought...not an action.

Not to justify the thought, but it burns me how much more it costs for a family of 5 compared to a family of 4.

If you price this trip out without DDP it's should only be 555.03 ???
Paying for DDP it is 914.94 ???
What are you paying for???
AKL would only be 1137.94???
I thought you couldn't book Values for Bounce Back???

Should be at 82.00 a night for ASMU S/B 328.00 total for the length of stay, not per night.

plus three one day tickets (estimating here at 60.00 per person) 180.00

It should be around 500.00.. unless maybe the poster got the suites there?

How is it that much more expensive? A family of 5 is bigger and needs more space and beds. So they have the option of 2 value rooms or a family suite. That's the price you pay when you have 3 children all over age 3.

You could book a room in POR some rooms can fit 5, I think with 5 I would want 2 bathrooms though. I guess that's the way it is when you have 3 children. I really don't think it's right to add extra made up kids. Maybe that's why at times the CM has to see all members. It doesn't even come close to justify. Sorry.

After reading this thread I am a bit confused. Can you or can you not book a value room next year with the Bounceback Free Dining offer?
Thanks a bunch.
