After reading this thread I am a bit confused. Can you or can you not book a value room next year with the Bounceback Free Dining offer?

yes you can book a value resort. Several people have posted that they have booked already.

If you're in a Mod or Deluxe, the offer in your room refers only to mods & deluxe (disney would prefer you book the same or book up, not book down a category.)

but people staying in values now have reported the flyer in their rooms refer to values & mods.


Poster reporting paying over $900 for ASMu must either be paying for dining (why?) or they've booked a family suite...those rates do not add up any which way for free dining.

O.K. this is a Hypothetical...

what if you booked two value rooms and said you had a couple of extra kids for extra dining credits would this flly???

Just a thought...not an action.

Not to justify the thought, but it burns me how much more it costs for a family of 5 compared to a family of 4.

To get the FD deal, you have to have a room package, so you'd have to buy at least a one-day park ticket for each of the "extra Kids" on your registration
too. And, it depends on the CM, and maybe varies from one resort to another, but sometimes they do require all parties to be present at registration so your imaginary extra children might be noticed.

If I am on a package with DH and DS and both DH and I want to book a room for four for the bounceback can we do this? (Meaning two people in one room and three people in the other room will not be present when we sign up for the bounceback deal.) Just want to clarify - thanks for people's patience!!

If you are staying at a value this year, can you still book the AKL for bounceback next year even if you only get offered a value or moderate on your bounce back offer in your room? DH and I want to stay at AKL next year but would like to take advantage of the bounce back with free dining. Will this work?

So you can book ANY villas? like BCV or BWV even though it would be earlier than 11 months out or 7 months out? I didn't think the villas became availalbe until after DVC can book.

I want to try to book BCV but worried I'll only be offered SSR or OKW.

THere is never a guarantee that FD will be offered in the spring. I would think that the more rooms that are already filled the less of a chance of an offer. This year the BB started on Aug 24 for dates beginning Aug 23, 2009. It looks like your stay is too early for the offer currently offered for next year and the spring offer has had a lesser date range than the BB has had in the past. The BB last years date for the first day of stay was until Sept 29 and the offer in the springs last date for first day of stay is Sept 20.

The free dine works with the villas but yes, disney doesnt release availability to the public until probably after the bounceback ends (almsot)

From what I read the 10/2-10/8 dates still offer the free dining but the room rate is higher because it changes from value season to regular season.

We also are checking in on the 26th of Sept to POP.

We always go over columbus day, this is the first year we are not and it is only because we booked BB last Oct. I would really like to be able to check in around the 7th of Oct next year.

Guess I will have to wait till we are there and get all the details.

I just booked next year's stay arrivng 8/23 for 9 nights with free dining! we are so excited! we just checked out today from all star sports and are enjoying lunch and treats at dtd. I cant believe I am ready to start planning for next year amd we are barely finished with this vacay!

OKW and SSR are the only villas that would be available for the 30% off and the free dining. However, I just spoke to a CM about this and because the rooms aren't released and not sure when they will be, you need to reserve any room and then you can upgrade once the rooms become available. She did not know if it would be just studios or not. that's the lates that I got.

Here is what I got for 2 adults, Sept 10 to Sept 14th 4 nights, one day base tickets, no insurance, free dining.

Wilderness Lodge $1375.96
All Star Sports $532.70

We did not book because we did not want to tie up $200 for 14 months, and we feel that being AP holders, its better for us to get the AP discount and purchase the dining, and its still very hot the end of Aug to Sept.
I believe this promotion was for the period Aug 23rd to Oct 1st.

You may end up with better rates with AP in a Deluxe but not the Values and most likey not the moderates. We have an AP rate for a Value starting Sept 28 which is fine and a nice rate, but if we had booked last year during the BB we would have pd. 82/night but had about 78 per night of free dining. We do have the DDE card so we will save there, but most likely not eat out in the TS each day. I guess if you don't want to tie up 200 it's not worth it.

This is what I figured. Last year after arriving home I tried for months on end to change my ressie to BCV or BWV or VWL and couldn't. The only villas I could move the BB code to were SSR or OKW.

So, the the 30% code we got for this year in the mail was such a surprise and just what we wanted since it worked on the villas anywhere.

I'll book something while we're there since I know we'll go in September next year. But now I have to forget about BCV and think of a new resort to book!


Wait, I just re-read your post and you say "30% AND free dining." What about JUST free dining? Oh, but you have to book something else anyway and hope to change it at 7 months out?
